Literally got excited when I saw a new upload, I love your videos! They’re so calming. Also, I tried the shrimp salad & dressing from your previous video and took it with me as a lunch for a weekend trip and it was delicious! I added some adobo seasoning and fresh herbs and it kicked it up a notch. I definitely will be making my own dressings from now on! Thanks again ☺️🫶🏾

Wonderful as always! A great "dressing" I like is Greek and kimchi. Either the brine or some kimchi and any other seasonings you want, or not. Mix, or you can blend it! Quite yummy! I suspect your anchovies would be a great addition. Thanks for the start to a wonderful week. ❤

I got my labs back from my Dr. and my cholesterol was high she suggested getting on medication or reducing animal products and increasing more plant foods. I eat eggs or cottage cheese for breakfast most days. I’m just not sure what changes I should make. Just curious what your thoughts are on this? Much love!
@drclairelockridgend5 ай бұрын
So for high cholesterol the research shows decreasing saturated fat (mainly found in animal products, but also in some plant products like coconut oil) and increasing fiber has the most impact! Decreasing refined carbohydrates can also be helpful! I would start by assessing how much fibre and saturated fat you are consuming on a daily basis! For women, we want a minimum of 25 grams of fiber per day. You can also check out the NIH page on Cholesterol, as they have a lot of information! Link: www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/blood-cholesterol Hope that helps 💚

Please can you explain why you clean your veggies in the vinegar and baking soda combo? TIA for this and the great content. 🥰

I soak the veggies in a mix of water, baking soda and vinegar. This helps to remove remove dirt, chemical residue, and bacteria from the veggies! Hope that helps 💚

I make a lot of summer rolls as well and I’d love to know how you roll them so easily! What’s your strategy with water and fillings prior to rolling?
@drclairelockridgend5 ай бұрын
I let them sit in the water for about 10 seconds. You want to take them out before they are completely soft, as they will continue to soften them as you fill them. If you soak them too long they will tear! Then I try to not overfill them and roll as tight as possible! It took me a while to get the hang of it, so don't get discouraged, just keep practicing! Hope that helps 💚

@drclairelockridgend5 ай бұрын
So glad that you found the content helpful! I do about 1-2 teaspoons of ACV mixed in 2-3 tablespoons of water! Hope that helps 💚

So glad that you like the videos!!! It may be hard to do a video on supplement needs because every persons needs are different (even same age and gender). But I will add the idea to do a video on vitamins and nutrient dense foods to the list! Thank you so much for the comment!💚
