I’ve never seen a Cordyline blooming, pretty! Wonder what triggered it? Ooh I’d love to offer to trim off the dead leaves on all the garage plants, its one of my favorite planty chores. That would be a nice video, also would show how the plants are doing…anyway sounds like you had a great holiday with your family ! 😊🪴

Thank you! They are lovely flowers. The season is largely what got them blooming. Shift in light and temps triggers the flowering.

I wonder if you would be able to use sulfur powder with the fogger. You'd have to wear a mask to apply it and keep the door to the house closed for a while after applying, but sulfur is one hell of a pest control agent.

I wondered about that also. Only problem is the pond and iguana... seems risky. I could wheel the lizard inside for a few days, but even if I tarp the pond, would only take a little bit to contaminate and cause problems for the fish.

You’ll have to let us know how you like the new self watering containers? I’m an under waterer so that may dry out too fast for me especially with our extremely low humidity ? Although it is up to 38% today, the wood stove isn’t on because it’s unseasonably warm out right now which is probably a good thing so we don’t run out of fire wood. 🌲❄️⛄️💚🙃

I like Homalowmena ‘s but you’re right they want more water than I will keep up with. I’ve tried before 🥺and there is no sense in me buying a plant when I know that I’ll just end up killing it . 🌲❄️⛄️💚🙃

I’m NOT a fan of the self watering pots I have, they work well for me but I just don’t like how they look. Maybe a cover pot would help ? 🌲❄️⛄️💚🙃
