I stayed in the UK for a year. That longing feeling i felt, missing home. Couldn’t describe it. I hope you do better than me. Explore around our country, maybe that’ll help. Have a car. There’s no winter, so you have every weekend to go jalan-jalan. Hang in there.

Dogs are technically not haram in Islam.. only the saliva are haram or impure.. but the panting do release their saliva, and for that reason, most Muslim cannot touch them..

pretty sure you can find some basketball groups in kl, while on the tech side we can always rely on a few shops/business to import the stuff we want from overseas (yes it is not ideal if you worry about the warranty or spare parts)

Haven’t found basketball friends yet, but no rush. Been enjoying learning how to play soccer/football. I’m getting better at it!

Tried Antipodean? They've got pork bacon for their big breakfast. We do have basketball too. It's more common in the outdoor free parks built by the government. You just need to check when people play there (I'm not a sporty person, not quite sure how that works).

Thanks for the tip. Will look for antipodean

You should try the Malaysian oxtail soup if you haven't. Im guessing it would probably taste as good as the spanish version. You can get them at most Malays & Mamak restaurants

Explore outside the city when you have a car or the time. Go around Damansara, TTDI, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, etc. Regarding the seasons, can't do much about that since we're smack dab in a tropical environment.

Been exploring for sure. I play futsal in Subang Jaya. And we love the cafes and restaurants in PJ ❤

Its hard to get dogs onto public areas in Malaysia because the Malays are adverse to dogs because of their religion.
