It’s actually surprisingly light- usually you see people catching Assault And Battery for that one, or even (occasionally) assault with a deadly weapon if they’re sick with certain things

@owljpeg, spitting can spread pathogens. When you choose to spit on someone, you are knowingly taking the risk of infecting them with certain diseases. 2 years is actually pretty light for this.

I guess it makes sense because if the victim was murdered the corpse would have your DNA on it, which would make finding the person who committed the crime so much harder. In effect it could be seen as you doing it as a way to protect the murderer.

Few problems (again): - It could be possible that the spitting was part of their act to get a job as the new Mr. Frog, so there's no way they could've been charged with assault here (1:04) - Again, like in the Allan video, Allan and Glep was told to "seize Pim and Charlie" so no false imprisonment charge for Glep. (1:13) - Glep was put to work at Britney (Fibila Diaboulis)'s house against their own will, so they had reason to spit on Britney's corpse (1:37)

The spitting being a part of the audition seems unlikely when you see the way in which the director reacts suggesting that glee improvised winning him the role. The frowning friends aren’t a legitimate authority as we do see that the police exist in the murder mystery episode. As for spitting on Britney maybe that argument would hold up.

The defense for the first one wouldn't hold up. It's not a part of the audition. The second, frowning friends is not a legitimate law enforcement agency, and even then they didn't commit a serious crime. Just because they have the power to doesn't mean they can either. And the third one, well, that's a tough one because she is the daughter of Satan, so more than likely a judge would rule that he did the world a favor and drop all other charges

Assault is the threat of violence or bodily injure, Battery is the actual contact with another person and most Battery charges go along an Assault charge. Some of these assault charges can be double whammies.

@@Firguy So the guy's still wrong because he charged Glep with "Assault." The maximum penalty for simple battery is also 1 year, and tbh Glep's sentence would probably be significantly less. But higher sentences make for more interesting videos, so here we are.

Some people here are mentioning that Mr. Boss' wife might not count as a person because she's a demon. Sadly that wouldn't be the case in America. Here we have this thing called "Separation of church and state". So if demons were both real and sentient then they would have the same rights as us. In the 50's they probably wouldn't but this is the modern age and discrimination isn't cool anymore.

Hey there you go, plenty of views on this video. I remember stumbling upon your channel 1-2 days ago and you had way more videos, but most of them were only a few hundred views or so.
