This reminds me of when i tried to remake the roman empire in age of conflicts, my results were terrible: lost sardinia, gained unprotectable lands in france and balkans and crappy allies. Only pro was that i got some settlement in tunisia

Its really great video. I like that even after axis victory, alloed forces didn't gave up entirely and after some years, started war again. The only thing I dont like is in second part of video, in the east theres only communistic and soviet rebellions, but not belarussian, baltic, ukrainian and etc. Have a nice day!!!

In order for the Italians to reform the Roman Empire the military would have to be comparable to the German one and actually be able to concur their territory themselves! So if we assume that, and the axis won the war, the empire could have been formed taking the entire Mediterranean. Depending on how the romana treated their civilians through out the empire there probably would have been no major revolts and any that did occur would have been put down. If time treated Greece, Spain and Portugal with respect and given them some power and influence it would have strengthened the empire! Perhaps reverting back to the classical age bringing about a Mediterranean renaissance! As for this scenerio with Germany occupying Italy because they were too weak wouldn’t happen in this situation because rome would have to collapse first or capitulate to Germany which wouldn’t have happened. It anything Germany would have just helped roman forces like they did in ww2. Most people don’t realize that Germany only occupied Italy’s free Mussolini was arrested for incompetence and failure, and Italy was too weak from fighting the Allie’s to resist Germany! I would like to see a video of what if Italy was able to build a stronger military stating in 1861 with the Italian unification!

I have been reading up on the reunification and I saw a huge missed opportunity for Italy in 1866 to be competent against the Austrian army to gain all the land they wanted not just Venice and again in 1870 to join Prussia in their war against France and take back land from France and perhaps start colonizing North Africa! I just do not know the details of the actors at the time and how such a. Feat could be accomplished.
