Well, I think after a few generations, there will be also changes in Liyue. For example, they will be less productive and more crimes will appear. Freedom isn’t always that good :/ And for Mondstadt, I think they will move or at least have multiple city’s since it’s built on a island and, I’m assuming this village will grow in the future.

It would be similar to Inazuma, except a lot more open and only the clever and sly would be out on top in the worst case scenario. I can imagine Liyue's atmosphere could potentially turn into something like Cyberpunk 2077, with merchants and large businesses becoming stronger and bullying/absorbing the smaller ones, minus the advanced tech. Becoming essentially Oligarchs of Liyue

ive actually had a similar idea to this in which I share with a few friends and make an au for. I named it the roleswap au in which many characters got their roles swap with eachother. the premise is that they have to keep their personality and motivation, but they switch their roles. for example, Venti would still be the anemo archon, but he's now the Inazuma's archon of eternity. how would he rule inazuma, how would the story differs, will he go the same route as the original Raiden Ei? that's the basic concept of it lol

Kind of ranty but... Venti in Inazuma: his personality is that he loves humans so he can see for themselves the troubles they go through. If his ideal was eternity he might protect the eternity of their peace by becoming their protector (like Raiden) but also still believes in freedom and may allow them to explore outside of Inazuma (since originally he himself loved traveling). He might end up even inventing a new travel apparatus (like a hot air balloon or magical anemo device). Since he likes going around disguised into human towns (unlike Raiden) he'd be able to sniff out the Fatui's plans and then the quest would be Traveller sabotaging them while he finds a more politically safe solution. (He rarely uses force to solve problems and encourages mortals to take matters into their own hands, so he may try to influence a ruler- similar to Jean/Varka) Meanwhile Raiden in Monstadt: All the archons care about maintaining peace, for Raiden that is keeping her citizens in the area of Inazuma and getting rid of potential dangers (visions, signora, the serpent, etc.). So it's harder to see her maintaining freedom than Venti maintaining Eternity. Seeing how she enjoys meditation (lol), maybe freedom is in inner peace? She'd definitely protect Monstadt in her usual sword-slashing way.

I must say tho, I feel Diluc would jump out of joy if Zhongli could 'make a men' out of the knights by giving them some rules to respect. No offence to Jean but those knights need some order and she is just one person, she really needs to share the work she gets with the appropriate staff (especially the adventure guild as they are basically handy-man and could temporarily fill in for the missing knights), Meanwhile, I feel Venti would change Liyue not much, as he respects their version of freedom, but still make his contribution by promoting most of its art forms: painting, sculpting, singing, acting and so on

While I agree on what you said on a few things Rex Lapis would do, but I think there would be three things I disagree with. One of them is is destroying the church or making them worship him. Rex Lapis isn't a ego maniac and he respect traditions like you mention before. So the more likely thing that will happen is that Rex Lapis would turn the Church into a culture memorial of Montsade history and it Archon of Freedom with all that happen to that point. He would ensure that the city of freedom don't forget their roots in all this. While I do think he would enforce stricter laws, I don't think it to the extreme you may suggest. He will make sure knights that are slacking off work harder and will punish them for not following their duties, but he wouldn't cut off a chunks of their freedom as that would not only disrespect his friend Barbatos work and sacrifice. They make fun of each other and mess with each other, but they won't drastically change their home. Just tweak it to benefit them a bit more. Barbatos wouldn't remove the contract, but instead offer them to alter it or remove them. Giving them the freedom to chose their life style. And I feel like the wine industry wouldn't take a big hit as you assume. The law would be stricter on it yes, but it won't be that harder to get. It just means those who drink too much would would have to cut back to avoid causing trouble for other workers. And let face it, their too many drunks that abandon work and family for a drink. It would help them in the long run. Diona and Diluc would be happy on this at least. More effective workers and least drunks. Barbatos wouldn't exactly be hands off, as Im sure he knows he would have to be around and help the people cope with their new official freedom, but he would also convince them that while working hard to ensure their future is admiral and respectful, they also need to live in the present and make sure they are focus on their own lives as well outside of money and greed. But to also treasure their family and time more as well. While also minding the contracts and it laws to ensure Morax work don't go down the drain. In all honestly, I agree with a good chunk of what you said, but I feel with their wisdom and experience, they would be mindful of their new land tradition but also slowly adding in their own to ensure prosperity. Too much freedom lead to a lot of lazy and uncaring people who would rather nap and hold a grudge to a history that should be bury. While they should be mindful to it, they shouldn't hold it. While too much Order can lead to a narrow view and unchanging laws that can make them stagnation in the future. And this will lead them to only think of themselves in the long run. Like how they refuse the Adepti help when it come to it people to prove their pride. All in all, they would be good for each of their country.

It's gonna be such a drastic change though. Mondstadt is built on absolute freedom, where Liyue is bound to the control of contracts. In a way, they're opposites. Zhongli might find the people Mondstadt and their way of living quite curious. On the contrary, I actually think he won't change anything in Mondstadt, at least with the way he is now. The guy's long overdue for a retirement; he's not going to pour as much attention to Mond as he did to Liyue when he was in his prime. Venti, on the other, finds Liyue's system too tedious, and the people still adjusting to not being completely reliant on their god bothersome, if not pitiful. He wouldn't necessarily destroy contracts - he would let the people keep them as he can't (refuses to) really dictate how Liyue wants to rule itself unless the contracts were being harmful to the people. Which... they kinda are... but...

With Liyue's laws loosening and contracts being ripped up, it's likely that corruption would become rampant in a few years as people start to realize they could get away with exploiting loopholes in between the lines. It would be similar to Inazuma, except a lot more open and only the clever and sly would be out on top in the worst case scenario. I can imagine Liyue's atmosphere could potentially turn into something like Cyberpunk 2077, with merchants and large businesses becoming stronger and bullying/absorbing the smaller ones, minus the advanced tech. Or a real life example is the rise of something similar to Russian or Ukrainian Oligarchs after the fall of the Soviet Union.
