Here's an update from me. It took 14 months for me to get back to normal. I have no pain and I can't feel the bakers cyst at all. I have full range of my legs and knees. How did that happen without knee replacement? Exercises. Continued moving all the time.

I injured my knee 10 wks ago. X-ray shows no fracture or significant arthritis. MRI shows complex meniscus tear, Baker's cyst, bone bruise, & loose bodies. My Ortho says my knee is a MESS! I have compression wraps, a brace & have started PT, cortisone shot is being considered. Surgery may be in the future. Very painful and it's been a nightmare! The last 2 wks I have had my knee lock up 3 times. I want it to be done & over with!

Technically they do not go away on their own. It’s hereditary. Bad knees and repetitive movement causes them too. I’ve had bakers cyst since I was a teen. The doctor said they used to whack them with a telephone book. Even though that’s not the reason or fix it’s temporarily a relief. I’ve had them rupture before. They come back. Knee surgeries don’t fix it either. Good insight on the video but for people who have them forever you just live with them. It sucks.

Bakers Cyst can never go away unless you repair the mechanical issue with the knee. The fluid sac has ruptured and even after surgery it's going to reappear even after having it aspirated.

Yeah it is difficult to get it to go away without a lot of conservative work! Definitely something you can become very functional with even if it doesn't go away completely!

@@jo-jo83 on KZbin, look up lymphatic drainage massage for the lower extremities. That is supposed to help move the fluid from your calf up to your lymphatic system and where it gets disposed of. I’ve only done it twice but it seems like the circumference of my calf is less.
