One other thing I like about Sonic Forces Speed battle is that your skill is way more important than the level of your character. Like, it's very possible to win with a level 1 character against a level 16 character by just being better at the game. It feels like the game is trying to be pay to win, but kind of fails, which is ironically a good thing.

Personally, I like Dream Team the best. Sure it’s not as fun as Runners, but it’s better than stressing over unlocking every other character by wasting money or taking part in events.

SEGA seems to have fully succeeded integrating Sticks into the main Sonic series cuz at the end of Sonic Frontiers Amy mentions that she wants to see if Cream and Sticks want to go on a road trip with her and Sticks also appeared in Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games as a playable character so it’s safe to say that she could appear in a mainline Sonic game in the future as many see her as one of the only positive things to come out of the Sonic Boom sub series.

Hey there! Long time Sonic Dash player and also one of the lucky few who actually got Tangle free (haha). The game is actually much worse than it used to be. While I do agree that yes every character is the same the real fun aspect of it was the collecting aspect and building a collection of characters from the series along with unique variants. What made it great was the fact it was free and they had several events that allowed you to earn the characters you wanted easily. As opposed to Forces which was nothing, but awful pay to win and unbalanced garbage which btw still gave you cards for characters you maxed out meaning the more maxed out characters you have then if you attempted to buy loot boxes you'd go into the negatives instead of slowly ensuring you got more cards for characters you want which is why I immediately quit Forces. Dash was made like Forces. The main thing that made Dash great was that any character could be maxed out with purely rings and all you had to do to obtain them was collect tokens to to gain access to them. Now they updated the game to feature a card system so fundamentally broken it hurts to play. The system not only made the game lag which it didn't have before, but also made it impossible to max out all of your characters. Because adding an unnecessary resource to a unbroken level system was exactly what the game needed. And to rub salt in the wound you will never get cards for a character unless the devs tell you when you can get them so cards for collab characters like the Danimals monkey, Lego versions of characters, and Angry Birds will never ever be able to max out nor will their cards spawn on the track. If that wasn't bad enough there's a limit of how many runs for cards you can do per day to screw you over to force you to buy the card bundles which is entirely why the card system exists. They integrated a bad system just to sell you single characters who can go as high as $30 for just one character, buy not enough to max them out. Oh and it requires more rings to level up and leveling up is slower cause screw you.

@@PapiTheMenace I still think vanilla frontiers was the best sonic game since generations (honestly I had it top 1 OAT) but now after update 3 it’s not even close, this last year of sonic has shown me why Sonic Team is such a good company, because it listens to and builds off it’s fans feedback, and in some cases, hires fangame creators (like Christian Whitehead) on as official creators for games like Sonic Mania, Sonic might not be the best franchise out there for overall quality of game, but Sonic Team is one of the greatest development studios of all time because they truly do care, even if they’re given terrible deadlines and often make bad staffing decisions (like hiring Pontac and Graff to write every game after colours), they’ve proven that they do care about sonic in the end, also their incredibly lax view on fan games is so refreshing which is what allows stuff like Project 06 (one of the best fan games that any series has got ever and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if after ChaosX has finished it, he is hired over at Sonic Team to port it every) and Triple Trouble 16 bit (another great fangame) to exist and not enter copyright hell unlike another company (Nintendo)

Update 3 is completely optional you can either get the good/true or the bad/base ending on frontiers also what he said about the last update made the game worse is cause i think its something to do to the fact the gameplay loop kinda sucks the puzzles are easy as heck some of them can be completed by a 5 year old and some of them are forgettable and they so quick to finsh they take like a few seconds and the base is kinda rushed at the end and a bit buggy in a good way to say the least update 3 is a bit more buggier than the base game and other stuff i havent been in this channle for a while i dont think he made an video of reviewing the base game and the free dlc updates well except for update 3 dint even made a video it but wrote down his opinion on it

Not even close Sonic Dream Team literally beats some/most of the mainline games. Ranking: #1 Sonic Dream Team #2 Sonic Forces Speed Battle #3 Sonic Runners #4 Sonic Prime Dash #5 Sonic Dash 2 #6 Sonic Jump Fever #7 Sonic Jump #8 Sonic Dash There was a cancelled mobile Sonic game called Sonic Day which was basically Sonic Jump+Leap Day but better. And it had parkour like Lost World. Would’ve been so good, why did SEGA pass it up. The game would probably be #2 or #3 for me. Sonic Forces Speed Battle has a very high skill ceiling.

I think the gacha system is fine , they just need to make the pity system to balance, Gacha is fun to do , its excited and fun, and cause its gacha content some company will always make the product better and more high quality cause its need gamble to get it , so i think its fine And sonic dream for apple only is little bit far, i think they should make a Apple and Next gen console only, you can play it on Console if you had the apple arcade and Ps plus, and once you brought it in the console you can play it forever no need to buy the arcade, for 29.99 will be the best i think, and they can also do dlc pack or story pack for it, like you can use Shadow or metal sonic The price is fine, if money can make a better sonic game back like unleashed and generations or adventure series i will definitely pay for it
