Like 6. You have been very busy this week. All the food looks delicious. Loved the look of the sweet and sour chicken. Homemad epastry does taste nice though. That deep pie looked wonderful. Love brussel sprouts, goes nice with a pie. Love roast pork. And that chocolate cake looked amazing

Yum yum! Never thought of using marmite when making a dish with beef will have to give it a go, I do use a heaping desert spoon of caramalised red onion chutney just gives it a little summat. Our last roast dinner was friday so oh yes we'll be looking forward to our christmas din dins.

Hi hailey your meals looked so so nice that pie was so nice with your pastry i think you can tell when ifs homemade pastry and shop bought the home made is so nice i think youll have to make that pie one sunday withchips and the gravy over the pie and chips i made an all in one dinner yesterday using mincebeef potatoes cut up and carrots and leeks and a savory minced beef from swartz and a couple of oxos and a tin of french onion soup it cookeed for a bout 5 hours and the potatoes fell and andy had bread with his it was soso nice i had 3 portions left so j put them inthe freezer i loved your cake you made i bet it tasted yummy love fran xxxxx❤❤❤❤

Great meals as always Hailey. That sponge looks so nice, do you know if it freezes OK, was thinking of making the sponges then freezing, maybe putting cherries & cream I the middle so like a black forest gateau, i limited black forest gateau at Xmas!! I made a chicken, stuffing & pigs in blankets pie on Saturday but I will confess i did use pre made pasrty I usually make my own but couldn't be bothered, so hey I'm confessing!!! 😅 I miggt make some when I've got a baking head on & freeze it. Im having a kitchen day today I've got vegetables to blanch & freeze so I might bake as well

Yes the sponge is freezable, just cling, foil, cling wrap it to aboid freezer burn wouldn't put cream in before freezing Tho. As For Pastry, I often use pre made, nothing wrong with that xxx

She's a Lhasa Apso, 13 next march. My baby. 😍 I Had 3 cats, when we moved here our cat kept returning to the old house which isn't far away, eventually she stayed with the neighbour 😔 My eldest cat left and didn't return one day, she usually didn't go far she was nearly 18,and the last one a tabby he also disappeared when he was 16, makes me sad, but I'm glad I didn't see them suffer if that makes any sense. My dog in her old age, altho she still looks like a pup, has turned into a walking mini dustbin. Lol She gets a bit of veg, meat, potatoes on a plate on a Sunday. Every morning as soon as the kids leave the house, she comes straight over for her treat 😁I try to get natural snacks, she loves sprats, jerky duck and jerky chicken. She's getting a bit of beggar Tho when we're eating, so need to sort that out, it's because the kids feed Her at the table xxx

Please pass on my apologies for calling her a boy 😊 at 13 she is allowed to do whatever she wants. Cats are mysterious creatures and have their own set of rules to live by , which they occasionally let us take part in. Ask me how I know 🙄

They only stay with us through choice, they don't need us, they hunt well enough to feed themselves, they choose who they will trust enough to be with them, I hear they dissappear like alot of animals when they know they're not well and dying. I'm just glad I didn't see it, but on the other hand I Would've liked to have comforted the at the end x

We Don't buy them, we make our Own burgers with pork mince, so much better than beef, they don't dry out and freeze well xx
