Great share and makes heaps of sense. I've encountered the same problems when dealing with proximity switches used in industrial equipment. Getting a strong positive signal would involve mucking around with the position of the sensor, but I never knew that the internals can be polarised like that. Thanks!

Can one of these be cut off shorter and still function? I have a clearence issue with a homegrown project, wether resistance will not be an issue.

I have an f body t56, with a variable reluctance speed sensor. The terminator x ecu I’m using only accepts a square wave signal. Do you have a solution for switching the stock t56 vss sensor to a square wave? I see Tick performance has a drop in Hall effect sensor for the fbody t56, but it’s pretty pricey :(

Just finished building a bracket and putting your sensor and wheel on my 12 bolt… I really hope i don’t have to turn the sensor lol. These fbody cars and the TA.. it’s all pretty tight… and my sensor isn’t dead center so this will definitely be a issue 😭

We need a tester we can hook up to a drill press that will allow us to see a whether "factory" sensor is indexed in the potting correctly. That being said all these OEM sensors are being spit out from the cheapest rat hole country they can find with no QC.
