Vsauce is the art of presenting something, asking a seemingly unrelated question and then ending the video with a connection of the answer, and the something.

That's true of all things in life. What makes you strongest hurts the most. What gives you the most knowledge is the hardest to understand. The concept of Yin and Yang is everywhere, but just like the dichotomy of black holes and quasars, because it is everywhere it becomes hard to notice. What is most abundant is the hardest to see.

it's crazy that this is made before we even had an accurate idea of what a black hole's accretion disc looks like, since Interstellar invented the rendering technology necessary to get the image and it wouldn't release until like 7 months after this, and then we didn't get a real picture until the Webb telescope. Still very cool a decade later.
@personmcdudeguy

This is a myth, scientists had a solid understanding of the appearance of the accretion disk years before interstellar. It was just the most technically advanced rendering up to that time.

You have it backwards, you mean predictably unpredictable. In other words you can anticipate that the video is going to have tons of random facts but you're not exactly sure how it will unfold until you've watched it. Jim Bob I guess its a bit difficult to make them, since he's already done a bunch. First he'd have to find a question he hasn't already asked and then he'd have to see if scientists even have an answer for it. It starts off easy and then get progressively harder the more videos you make. So, the once or twice a month schedule does make a little sense

...Because we don't even know if "Dark matter" is actually a form of matter. It's just an unknown source of gravity. Neil DeGrasse Tyson has said a more appropriate name for it would actually be "dark gravity." And this isn't to be confused with dark energy either, which is the mysterious force responsible for the expansion of the universe to keep accelerating (which we can observe and have shown in experiments) as opposed to eventually slowing down like we would have guessed.

Made me think because living in mexico in the city you still can see the stars more clearly. I use to go to the country side with to my extented family.for vacation and its a small spured area. Houses can be close together but at the same time far apart feom other small homes and the atreet lights were also spured and far apart so when it's night time its really dark ams the sky is littered with millions of stars. It was beautiful. When i was 8 i came to the US and was disappointed at how empty the sky is.

Like, they shined so bright that they left a near permanent mark on our universe that billions of years later is still fascinating us. This is the kind of life you should live, where your light shine so bright that it stays present even after you're gone. What do you guys think?
