Well that's because in Turkey they don't have all the variations of künefe... Künefe is a Palestinian dessert and it has many variations... They have soft künefe (which is also not available in Turkey) and künefe in a special kind of bread and the hard künefe that you know in Turkey... You're not expert in street foods if you're never visiting Philippines, Indonesia,and Malaysia.They're street foods are cheap and awesome.I'm lucky to be born in one of these countries.Singapore isn't a great place for street food as high government regulations preventing you from tasting any street foods as the foods are in hawker center,not in the streets where the vendors will come right to you and serve you the food wherever you are.Martabak is local in Indonesia and Malaysia(and originated from India,not Middle East).Singaporean have the taste of Martabak same from Malaysia and more mild than Indonesia.A chili flavored Martabak is a must try for chili-lovers in Indonesia.Balut is a great one if you wanna try new experience.Disgusting but it worth the experience for me

ok so I’m Greek-American and I live in NYC. Yes, the gyro is Greek, but I guarantee you: street gyros in NYC are vastly different from the traditional ones that come from Greece. Usually, the white sauce would be tzatziki, but in NYC they often modify it. So, all in all, NYC street food often greatly modifies other cultural food, to the point of it being very different. But I get what you mean!

California was Mexico, however the first native were not just mexicans, part of the kumiai and kiliwas and other tribes are rusian ascendant and even the Chinese community here was really strong, so Mexico spread out from the south and then tacos were part of the culinary bringing, so yeah there is tacos in California, but not a "whole new level", that is a pretty normal quesailla. And if you go to Tepoztlan and other traditional places you are gonna see other types of quesadillas. Handmade tortillas and big and crispy, cheese and pumpkin flower or meat.. Or both ..etc ... Yum...!

@Rami Daskeo Stay calm boy. I'm Italian and I don't allow any chips to get past pizza. You just put sauce and cheese on it, you didn't even invented the fries. It's only good because it's fried. The pizza is cheaper and you should eat it in Italy to taste its true flavor. And it can be of all shapes and have all the toppings.

I'm Indian & South African! Indian people were not rich and had to make what little food we had feed a large number of people. So they put bread which will make people full and a little curry or whatever was available. It has no relation to the actual bunny ...
