On opening it would only rise about 20 cm and stop. Turned the lift screw up half a kilo and it works beautifully. Thank you.

Hello. Appreciate your explanation for the garage truble. The issue i have for my grage door its open then stuck in between some times during opning or closing. Note: the led light for the senser is turned off during the issue

Had a ground GFCI tripped in a hidden spot.

Should always start with the simple possible causes first. Video didn't even mention checking remote batteries. And what about the electronic eye near the floor on either side of door opening? It is very common to have something blocking one of these sensors, it being bumped out of alignment or covered with dirt and spiderwebs. I'd check and eliminate the easy causes before moving on to the harder ones, especially before climbing a ladder.

Hi Belinda, Make sure the latch on the arm holding the door to the chain or belt on the track is engaged. With the opener in the up position (bracket close to the motor) manually open the door and lift until you hear it click and then try and operate the door. Also check to see that the safety eyes bully the door opening are looking at each other and the status lights are green. Hope this helps!

I have been a mantanance tech for years. If its attached to the track at the pull release and is still not opening. 9 times out of ten the the worm gear has striped. They msake them out of a polymer of some kind.

Hi, my garage door opener unit doesn't work. The light on ceiling unit doesn't turn on. The lock isn't turned on the keypad. I clicked on buttons on the ceiling opener unit and it still doesn’t work. The ekectric power switch box shows it is getting power. I cleaned the sensors, which dont show a green light. Can anyone help me with suggestions?

Hi There, Try unplugging the unit and running an extension cord from an outlet you know works and see if it powers up. If so that outlet that it’s connected to might be running off of a GFCI outlet somewhere that is tripped if in fact the breaker is still on. Hope this helps!
