I just called you for advice on my new pressure pump issue. I was amazed to hear the call handler referring me to the manufacturer for advice! If you take the trouble and post a video on this site, advertise your number asking punters to call and seek your technical take on an issue, it is patently no-brainer and unprofessional then refer them to the manufacturer. I knew I could call the manufacturer, so does anyone else. This is not rocket science. I took the trouble sharing the issue with you. You were absolutely unhelpful.

Hi , The salamander pumps that we have installed is troubling so much, the flow of water isn't fluent or consistent, the water finishes evrytime if one person takes shower so we hav to wait for 1 hour jus for the water to come fully it wastes loads of our time, the pump ain't giving pressure to all the taps and shower Please tell me a solution to it Respond needed ASAP 🙏 please Thanks,

Pump kicks in fine for cold. But as soon as I turn the dial towards warm, it cuts off when it reaches a certain point.

This could be one of a few different things depending on the pump you have, flow rates etc. Could you please DM us via social media your pump's serial number with picture of it installed and your contact details.

My pump stop working on hot water 😢 cold is going all right. Filters all clean . Sometimes when i open cold water and turn it to hot one its going ok but when i try to open hot one straight its doesnt work 😞 got it brand new not even 2 years ago and now its giving us trouble 😢

I have the same issue, I can tease it from cold to luke warm but cuts off as soon as I turn the dial too far. Did you have a solution?

My pump stops after a few seconds when i try to have a shower and i have to turn on the tap to keep the pump going so i can have a shower. Any ideas why this is happening?

Hi. We're sorry to hear this. A number of things could be causing this depending on the pump you have installed. For example, if you have a positive head pump, these pumps require a minimum natural flow rate to pass through the pump and out of the outlet (such as the shower) to activate. You might not be getting enough water through your shower alone to activate the pump, but by opening the tap you're increasing the flow rate above what is necessary to activate the pump. If you could check if the pump is supplying the tap, then send us a message including the serial number of your pump and a contact number, we can arrange someone from our technical team to call you to go through some system checks. @@SalamanderPumps Hi there, thanks for getting back to me. It’s a negative head pump. I followed the steps provided in some of the videos. I took off the pipes and cleaned the washers, but it still didn’t fix it. I turned the unit around and reattached the pipes, my shower worked fine but then the toilet stop started and I have to run the hot tap for continuous flow.. The model number is 53537-306 40 range 1ph 370w 230v 50Hz 2800rpm F INs 2.4A 10uF 440v Capacitor. Thanks all the info on the sticker on the pump. Hope that helps 🙏🙏🙏

These bastarding things are so fucking frustrating. 6 years listening to mine cutting in and out and no plumber we have got in has sorted it. We have to switch it off at night so it won't wake us up.
