That was the most intense acceleration I've ever seen! Well done keeping your cool, that is admirable

😲😲😲 I love how you just laughed it off. I would have been cursing up a storm. Hubby heard me from across the house saying “oh no, oh no no no etc” and yelled “accelerating or ricing?” 🤣

Love your giggling over that naughty soap dough 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👌 a couple days ago I had EXACTLY the same situation with rose fragrance, but I also added a high % of pure raw shea butter 😅🤦‍♀️ so it was a double trouble and i was deeply disappointed in soap making further experiments 😭😭😭

I can sympathize with you. I had a soap accelerate on me, but I was quick enough to get it into the mold. The next day I unmolded it and was surprised to see that it looked alright. Boy, was I wrong! As soon as I cut it it fell to pieces. So I chopped it fine, put it in a crock pot with a bit of water, turned it on low. I kept stirring it every 15 minutes until it melted. I took an old hand mixer, beat the crap out of it and put it into single molds. It came out beautifully. So there is always something you can do with soap.

That went from liquid to concrete in about 10 seconds!! That was crazy!! Still love the end product though. Reminds me of "peasant soap" that a friend of mine would make.

I've had soap accelerate but, holy cow! That white was HARD. As you said though, it's still soap, and will probably be lovely to use. Good for you for rescuing it.

Ohhhhh my goodness, I had to laugh along. I just did a rose soap over the weekend. It didn't misbehave quite that much but it was still a stinker. Too cute!

UGH... Last week I made a loaf and used sandalwood. The batter was perfect ....UNTIL. as soon as the sandalwood hit the lye it did just this. BUT because I did not know to crockpot it, I threw it away. I am glad I found this video. I watch all of yours, but this one hit me in the feels. Thank you for completing the process. Now I know what to do. I love your channel, your personality, and soaps. Big hugs from Texas

When I first started making soap one of my soaps did that to me. I just grabbed the gallon of milk out of my refrigerator and started pouring some milk in and stirring really hard I ended up with a peach and white colored soap it was supposed to have only been Peach colored. The soap was really luxurious and lathered great. It wasn't the prettiest soap butt I really enjoyed using it.
