I am Muslim from America. Yes agree feasting after fasting not good. Prophet Muhammad said eat food 1/3rd stomach, water 1/3rd and another 1/3rd air(leave empty).

Delaying Suhoor is a part of the Sunnah as the Prophet ﷺ said: “Hasten to (eating) Iftar (in Ramadan immediately when the time is due), and delay (eating) Suhoor.” [At-Tabaraani] ‘Amr ibn Maymoon, said: “The Companions would break their fasts immediately at sunset (without any delay) and would delay eating Suhoor (until as close to Fajr as possible).” [Al-Baihaqee] Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast." Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 1957

At 7:00, "try to eat suhur as close to sunrise as possible", our Prophet (ص) also commanded us to delay suhur as much as possible, and to hasten to iftar as soon as sunset, 1500 years ago.😊

7 is not a time for suhur...the right time is 45 mins before sunrise

@Dr. Pal- our prophet has told exactly the same words to delay suhr and hasten in Iftar just before sunset. He (sws) lead a very simple life, His meals were very simple just a few dates and some watery kanji. It’s we who have made the month of Ramadan as a grand affair of cooking and serving endless dishes. If we follow the way our prophet used to spend this holy month we can gain maximum benefits out of this holy month, both physically and spiritually😊

Its true now the generation is very lazy if they are given chance to eat late till morning the will eat till after noon so . Its better that they should know the time value And end their eating by siron .😊

----📝Notes---- 🌄[suhur] 1) high water content food. -fruits: 🍍pineapple, 🥭mango, plum, 🍈🍉melons. 2) food that keep you full. -protein: 🥚egg, 🥛milk, 🧀cheese, yogurt. -fiber: 🌾grains, 🍞whole wheat bread, 🍚brown rice. 🌇[iftaar] 1) eat full dinner within 30 min after sunset. -eg: break fast with dates and water. pray magrib prayer. then eat full dinner. 👨🏽Dr. pal diet if he fast. 🌄[suhur] protein : 🥛milk, 🥚egg, 🥤protein smoothie. fiber: 🥦vegetables or oats water content: fruits, 2-3 dates, 1 big glass of water. 🌇[iftaar] non-veg protein : grill 🍗chicken or grill 🐟fish. veg protein : vegan sources of protein . fiber: 🍚rice and roti water content: fruits. dessert: 1 glass of 🥛milk mix with Chia seed Summarize: have low carb, high protien, high fiber diet.

1. Ramzan fasting is not from sunrise to sunset. It is from twilight (starts 90 minutes before sunrise) 2. Suhr..Waking up at 4.00 a.m and eating heavy is not possible . Most of the Muslims take curd and bananas and lots of water) 3. Iftar. Prophet recommended to break fast with 1 or 3 dates and water. There is a prayer immediately after sunset. So all would pray and then sit again and eat Kanji and mostly fruits. Youngsters and children indulge in samosa.. vada.. Iftar parties are different stories.. people indulge in gluttony 4. During Ramadhan in midnight for one hour special prayers are there which all attend(it is a demanding exercise for body. Old and sick are allowed to pray sitting )

Thanks a lot dr pal for ur wishes and Sahar neram pirpaduthi sapiduvadu and ifthar late pannakoodaadu Is said by our prophet muhammad (sal) we do this not for our gut health but as the sunnah of our prophet and in normal days we should finish our meal before isha prayer is said by our prophet and it is practised in most madarasas still and then I am very happy to prefer u dr pal to read the sunnah of our prophet muhammad (sal) He is the model of our life he taught everything u says and every disciplined way of living in his life and the way he lived is recorded as sunnah for us alhamdulillah

Masha Allah that was an awesome sharing Dr Pal. Tq so much. As we know For Sahur we are adviced to stop eating at least 10 min bfr Subuh Azan( enough to read 50 verses of Alquraan) and break immediately when enter the break time with sweet ( dates) or plain water( because that is the happiest moment for fasting people).This is our Prophet Sunnah. The fast is rewarded by God for our health benefits and help us to understand the starvation of needy people.. we pray Allah bless you and make ease your charity works inshaAllah. Salam Ramadhan al Mubarak to all Brothers and Sisters. In this holy month please don’t waste food especially after watching the Palestinian people starving!

Thank you so much Doctor. 🙏🥰One more point doctor if we choose suhur food high quality protein and healthy fat insulin spike is very low , only for protein low insulin spike for healthy fats no insulin spikes . It’s goods to have suhur this way. I am a Muslim too. Then iftar chose healthy carbs very little all other portion of plate filled with high fibre veggies protein and healthy fat. This will be amazing One more thing after breaking fast we have to pray then we can eat the main meal

Thanks Doctor for the timely reminder. Upon breaking fast I used to dump whatever I missed during the day in the name of compensating energy. This Ramadan I will avoid that.

Every ramzaan I lose 2-4 kgs of weight without going to gym or yoga class, which I am not able to lose otherwise despite going to any gym or yoga classes. I feel happy n healthy after fasting in ramzaan

I follow regularly your channels and time restricted feeding too, hence was waiting for suggestion during ramdan… definitely this time i wont make the mistake of having heavy meals after iftar.. since I know the concept now.. but what to eat has helped from this video.. kudos @pal

My friend is non muslim.. he is hindu.. he and his family fast every year in ramadan.. his mother fast for whole month.. he fast for last 4 days .. since 26th day of ramadan is considered the best day of the ramadan.. so he fast on 26th day and continue till last(30th day)

I like the way you talk to all people, including those who follow certain kind of food habits in the name of ritual according to their religion. After watching your videos, I have a better understanding of the body cycle and cell mechanisms. I also carefully listened to your advice about the starting and finishing time of fasting to enhance the process of autophagy. In my view, the rituals of Islam are always good for people's health, such as circumcision and fasting etc., Especially when it comes to fasting, the exact prophetic words about the timing of fasting are very close to your statement, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'My peoples will continue in goodness so long as they hasten to break their fast and prolong the pre-fasting meal.'" (Book : Sunan al-Tirmidhi 745) This timing ensures the enhancement of the process of autophagy, as you said, between 06:51-07:16 and 08:41-08:56. I appreciate your medical advice on this matter, which will really help me convey this health benefit to those who are not aware of it.
