It's hard to find videos on these subjects that don't have "girl" or "guy" in the title. What about grown people? I know a man who lives a state away. We've gone through periods of talking on the phone where I've felt the need to ask him questions because, while he calls me (used to be too often imo) his tone is very monotone, low energy even when he's laughing. I want to be more interested in him, but something about this annoys me to no end because I don't know why he hasn't noticed this in himself. When I've spoken to him I've made quite an effort not to take over the conversation, to learn more about him, but it's a lot of "yeah... I dunno, the new position is good, the hours & schedule are working out pretty good." And I end up wondering "why can't we talk about music or films or anything other than pragmatic day to day!?" I have a question if anyone happens to read this who has an opinion on it; He's attractive, but I noticed that his profile, nose, forehead and coloring are so similar to my father that it shook me. I don't know why it turns me off so much, but is that normal? If you met a woman who was attractive, yet her skin and features looked like she was directly from your gene pool would it turn you off? I'm sure I sound like a bizarre woman with a lot of expectations, but aside from the physical part, I just find it exhausting to carry the conversation each time. If I don't ask him a question he sort of slowly reiterates something we've spoken about previously. He's not a stupid man by any means, but I've made the mistake of thinking that still waters run deep before!:))
