And if ranked choice voting can reward moderates - discouraging “my way or the highway” grandstanding - maybe we can restore rational dialogue and get things done.

I’d like to see swing state AZ Senator Astronaut Mark Kelly as the VP. He has the ultra cool smart military navy fighter astronaut factor (plus twin brother was an astronaut as well), and can advocate for VA, military funding, military families, NASA, climate change. Being a border state Senator he knows first hand about the immigration issues and could work with that, including coordination with military. Since his wife former Rep. Gabby Giffords was shot in the brain at a political event, he’s a great advocate for gun reform. Good luck to Trump running against an astronaut whose wife got shot worse than he did.
