Very true. God is the source of everything good thing a man can have. We are only custodians put in charge of resources. But the truth is that despite the fact that everything is from God, you cannot just get them just like that. YOU DO HAVE YOUR PART TO PLAY. Here is the flow: 1. All blessings and genuine riches belong to and come from God. 2. They are given to you on trust. 3. Because you have proved yourself to be productive and excellent at what you do. 4. And because you have shown yourself to be a good manager of divine resources. Because what you manage multiplies. BUT YOU LOSE WHAT YOU DON'T MANAGE. Remember Jesus' parable of the talents? All these are the principles the parable is teaching us. Those who got more were people who showed themselves to be productive and good managers of their master's resources. It is okay to attribute every blessing to God because He is the Source. But that doesn't mean He will just bless you without you doing your part. IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY! So, when people tell us what they did to be successful, it makes their success story replicable by others. It does not necessarily mean they are proud or arrogant.

One's success is merely from a person's effort. Efforts that are in line with God's principles of success. The principles have been set from creation. It's our responsibility to find them and apply them.

@@davidahonsu now you know, so do something about it. You were saying god has laid life principles on how one may get rich, so through that god has bless us. But my question to you is, what about those who have found their way into presidential position and are enriching themselves by stealing, would you say god has blessed them too? Because I believe ones success comes merely from one effort not god

@Oyzatt To answer your question, let me say that as there is God's pathway to success, there are also shortcuts to success (e.g., stealing, duping, fraud, embezzlement, etc). But the truth is that taking shortcuts to success will eventually cut you short (guaranteed!) because God can not be mocked. Again, riches gotten by shortcuts are not sustainable. God is a God of process. So, His principles of success involve process. For example, David was anointed to become a king. But he didn't ascend the throne until over a decade later. During that time, he was going through stuff that would make him build the capacity to sit on the throne. If you are following God's principles and they are not working for you, it means they are working on you to become that person who fits into the blessings. I hope these answer your question.
