Keep my pizza simple: plain cheese, pepperoni, and occasionally salami and/or beef (sausage is usually too spicy for my tastes) enhanced with some garlic (though other spices, if applied right and in the right amounts, are acceptable). I'll sample others once on a blue moon, but give me the first two, and I'll easily last for months. Be careful if you take me to a pizza buffet, though. I might eat it out of business. No joke, I frequented one close to where I used to live so much that they started to fear me coming about a month before they closed permanently - and when it happened, I screamed like Homer Simpson (it carried all the way across the lot to the Super Walmart that was closeby).

Hi! So, as I'm Brazilian (I really admire your work), I don't eat anything recently, my suspicions were that I had an eating disorder. So I started writing down the days and this was the result. Daily, I don't eat anything in the morning and afternoon because of my mother, (always judging me on what I eat), instead of eating something, I spend hours on my cell phone or sleeping. I know everyone doesn't care about me, but I try to stay positive and eat healthily, is it difficult? Yes. I got to know your channel this year, and it helped me a lot in my self-esteem, I always recommend it to some of my close friends. And they say from their videos that they've made their lives a lot better. I am very grateful for you and for your knowledge having helped me to overcome many difficult paths and obstacles in my life and in the lives of others. ♥️

@gnarthdarkanen74643 жыл бұрын
This one (a lot of these, actually) is pretty nuanced in reality... It depends on your tolerance for spice and what draws your interest to it... Years back there was a study that found evidence that the chemistry released from spicy foods was very similar in nature to the release of chemicals around the "adrenaline rush" from facing a fear or intense excitement. Correlating to that study, a fair majority of "former adrenaline junkies" were also interviewed and specifically related that they loved spicy foods, whether or not they were still actively adrenaline junkies. There were a couple flaws in these approaches... First, when the brain-chemistry thing was originally done and published, there was barely even thought to a "heat scale" for common hot peppers. Scoville originally just judged their hotness on his own, by eating them... SO it was far too subjective in its first form to be of much scientific value, BUT when they tried to replace it, nobody seemed to care to engage... SO the science community worked WITH Scoville to upgrade his scale with a slightly more scientific approach, specifically measuring the "capsacin" that had finally been reviewed and proven as the source of a hot pepper's "hotness"... SO that whole brain-chemistry thing was based around a much more subjective definition of "spicy" than we'd have with a similar study today... Second, MOST (if not all) of the subjects of these studies were "self described"... A few might've been confirmable adrenaline junkies, but that's a weird culture for a noob' to really navigate and understand. Like many "counter cultures" it's littered with posers as well as humble realists... AND then there's varieties of folks in between. Within the adrenaline junkie culture, there's a fairly standard and ONGOING "game of one-up-manship... That means just as soon as someone finds something incredible to brag about, you have two separate rounds of the game that immediately take place. 1. Everyone else rushes out to figure out how the first guy did the stunt/challenge, and repeat it... the sooner, the better... and then come back to brag the CHALLENGE DOWN... like "nah, it's not that hard or scary to do... I did it again last week." 2. Anyone who doesn't make it into the first round within a respectable time, has to redeem themselves by making their own personal challenge BIGGER, CRAZIER, AND MORE DANGEROUS... and complete it or die trying... This doesn't ever really stop around the actual Adrenaline Junkie Crowd, and no, we don't much care if it does get us killed at the time. It only gets occasionally slowed or punctuated with loud and obnoxious partying with alcohol, sex, and drugs... usually around some ritual of dangerous stunt activity... since the only thing more hard-core about a ridiculous stunt is trying the same stunt later either drunk or hungover... SO you get a crowd of folks already tatt'ed up to their gills and willing to risk life and limb just to say "I was there and did that"... and damn the crowds, followers, or fame... AND you ask about a food that's physically uncomfortable (spicy-hot)... they're immediately after THE most ungodly pain they can survive... to be a qualified part (as they see it) of your study. Ergo, the spicy that comes in a wonderfully appreciable variety of heats mixed with flavors gets delineated to either spicy or not... Nobody's noticed that practically ALL the subjects push their spice limits to tears or gagging and convulsions... as long as they still insist that they LIKE it. (and no self respecting adrenaline junkie will willingly admit he doesn't like the pain)... SO if you enjoy spice to a degree that tears flow and you break out in a sweat on the first bite, then you're likely to ALSO be enjoying the "hit" of adrenaline popped into your bloodstream... This also includes some of the "endorphins" that boost natural pain-killing in your body... part of what adrenaline junkies are often addicted to... It can also be some of a personal coping mechanic you employ in facing regular challenges you might find daunting in your own normal life, even if you don't relish the risks to life or limb of the scale of a regular or long term actual adrenaline junkie... If you only enjoy the warming sensual side of spice without bringing tears or sweats, though you've spent your whole life with spicy food, then you probably don't get that adrenaline "hit"... Instead, you find it relaxing and nostalgic the way other folks might find their childhood foods relaxing or cheerful... It can still even be a coping mechanic, soothing you and reminding you of easier, simpler times when things get complicated... just not exactly a risk, since you know every spice, burn, and tingle better than anyone... AND your tongue and nerves have grown accustomed to capsacin to a degree that it's about as painful as warm chicken broth to an "ordinary" person. SO the short-short version is that the operative term is "RISKY"... If you like being risky in your spice, then you might like a risky environment and deal naturally well with stress, surprises, and the unexpected in regular life... If you just like a sensuous warmth to your pallet, then you can be as neurotic and paranoid as the next person who'd run screaming from the room for the very mention of "spicy" anything. ;o)

What if you don't really "have" a favourite kind of food? What food I like most really depends and differs from time to time. Like one time I might yearn for some chocolate real bad, but another time I might really really want chips, in which case chocolate would outright put me off. Besides some 3 on the list, I really appreciate all these foods and cannot tell that I overall prefer one over any of the others.

There is a whole psychology in eating if u wanna check it out! The way this video is structured is not the limits of the content! Psych2go categorizes and makes their videos like this for a digestible reason! It’s light and info is said directly without having to wait and skip to get to the point! That’s basically going with the needs of the ppl nowadays because ppl tend to need a skip and can’t wait patiently anymore! I understand ur point of how come u d]can determine a whole personality with a food? But it’s not always generalized to the point that if u eat chocolate ur this , and if u eat fish ur that... as unique as every individual is , we can still find commons like ppl who enjoy healthy food can be the people who enjoy more self care! There are also behaviors while eating food , for ppl who eat quickly and ppl who like to enjoy what they are eating ...

@David Koresh I'm sorry i don't agree on psychology being a vehicle for entertainment. Psychology is a real study on human beings and behavior. Psychology has been able to help people go through mental challenges and i could say I'm one of them. Although there is a side of fun and entertainment it is generally that part that seems to be overrated. So yeah there is a part for that but it would be an understatement ti generalize when it has taken many studies, observation and research to help out people struggling with depression, anxiety, adhd, ocd, bpd...

I don't like food, that's all I want to say. I had a general hatred towards food. I don't like hearing the word "food" either. I even remembered how I use to skip break first when i was eleven years old and I still do it to this day. You see I only focus on the food that's only good for survival and health.

I love sweet and salty foods, such as chocolate and pretzels and I also love cheese and crackers especially together. But I also do enjoy a bowl a fruit except for Kiwi, Blueberries, Raspberries, Honeydew, Dragonfruit, Blackberries.

Funny thing is I noticed the ideas surrounding sweets and people who love them. I give partial credit to how many characters I create and the fact that anything can be linked to personality,and partial credit to the fact that I personally love sweets more than anything and my friends view me in all the ways you’d expect This was really interesting!! I loved hearing about all the different types •

Loved your video! Always fun and informative! And I was wondering if you know the name of the song playing in the background during the sweets segment? Thanks!

My favorite food would be medium rare steak with soy sauce to dip in with Caesar salad and a baked potato along with corn on the cob on the side.What does that say about me?I also am a hot tea drinker being my favorite drink.I wonder what this also means even though I am an ISTJ on my Myer briggs personalty type.

My favorite foods are sashimi, seasoned Brussels sprouts, asparagus, greens, spicy foods and a little bit of cheese. I eat a ton of carbs because they’re cheaper and readily available but I actually hate them.

Very accurate. I crave high calorie foods when I'm stressed or know I'm about to be stressed, and I can be very neurotic.

I eat potato chips very often. This video is right about having a competitive spirit as well as having hight expectations of myself and other people. I also like eating cheese, so I like planning ahead to avoid any future situations that I might run into.

Both my Mom and Dad prefer Sweet stuff like Chocolate 🍫 and Cookies 🍪 and Ice Cream 🍨, but my favorite kind of Sweet thing is a nice Honey Crisp Apple 🍎 or if I don’t feel like an Apple I go for a nice Orange 🍊.

MY FAVORITE FOOD IS TORTILLA CHIPS! I didn't think this was normal at all. I also use an ungodly amount of spicy salsa with my tortilla chips, so that must mean something.

I'm paying for collage completely without any loans. I've discovered a food much cheaper than ramen noodle's and I've been living like this for almost a year. Oat groats and lentils. 50ibs of oat groats costs only 20 dollars.

How did I miss this adorable video!!! I’m only a year late 😅. But it totally got me all giggling and grinning from ear to ear tonight, especially when reading the comment section. So, here are my favorites from your list: sweet foods, spicy 🌶 foods, meat/fish, fruits and vegetables. Interestingly, the descriptions sound about right. 😉 I used to love spicy foods so much I even owned a T-shirt that says “I’m a Pepper”. 😁 But I’ve cut down on spicy foods over the past years to be more mindful of my gut health. Thank you. 🧡

6. Cheese. Though I am also a mild perfectionist. 7. I do like to munch on honey ham every now and then. 8. Crackers are good too. Sometimes I combine 6, 8, 7.

I Love a variety of these sweets, potatoe chips, meats, cheese, spicy, vegetables, high calorie, you forgot pasta and bread! Yum! Everything in moderation though and I think it depends on my mood and what my body is craving at that time.
@Jasmin-uc4en3 жыл бұрын
I absolutely love spicy food, I like sweet food and cheese sometimes and I like vegetables quite a lot. Everything else in the video, I'm not too much into. The traits mentioned with sweet food, cheese and vegetables might apply somewhat, but I think I am absolutely not too much of a risk taking / high sensation seeking person. But studies are as such always about the average, guess there are outliers everywhere. Like ur channel

Meat, cheese, potato chips and high calorie foods are my go to. But, I also like pasta. It seems most of these are snack foods and not necessarily main courses
