Wife has a 2017 1.2 Dig-T. Brilliant car. Drives well, loads of kit, leather seats, dual climate control, cameras, very reliable … Now she’s bored with it and wants something different so I guess I’m going to have to fork out for an XC40. If you look at what you get as standard in the Qashqai they are very hard to beat for the price.

So summing up ,redesigned the front face grill ,lights . Minor changes tweaked the rear lights , trim and improved the screen a little. But it's the same engines , gearboxes so no one sitting in a pre tweeked will bother to px . Was going to get a 2024 tekna plus with the e power for 33 k . Great price about9 k less than normal window price . Asked how long is the e power warranted , nissan rep stuttered a bit then said it's the standard 3 yrs . 😢 I walked away not due to the extra tax , 350 per year for 5 years plus the standard 190 after first year but because it should have got a 5 year warranty on the electric tec parts , just sayin

Nice review - Everyone seems to have access to the newer N-Design trim when reviewing this facelift! Nissan really want to push that new version. I am waiting for someone to review or at least show the new Tekna model with the odd (brown) "Burnt Umber" interior touches. Brown doesn't sound overly appealing - since the 1970's!

I think it's a bit too soon to do a facelift. Sat in one 3 months back and thought it was pretty good - though a little too small for our family - so likely to go for the brand new VW Tiguan. Hope this car sells well though....important that Nissan stays in UK.

This one has it, though my understanding is that it does not come as standard in the N-Design trim as this trim is effectively N-Connecta+ (it's positioned as N-Connecta grade with exterior and interior styling changes). The heated screen can be added as part of the Heat Pack

I have been driving a new Nissan Juke hybrid N-connecta 2024 for about 8 weeks. Its not my personal vehicle & I have not driven a Nissan car before. So far I find it good car in its price range and certainly a big improvement on the previous versions. I am not reviewing this car but pointing out a bad feature in my opinion. The problem is “speed limit chimes” or sounds. Initially I thought I could turn off these chimes, but after a number of calls to Nissan customer services, it now seems it is a permanent feature. You might say why turn off a “possible” safety feature. In driving at variable speeds there is a flashing or blinking speed sign in the instruments to let you know when going over the limit, which is enough without the chimes. But in some driving environments such as towns & villages where the speed limit changes quickly from one to another the chimes become “an annoying distraction” especially if you are listening to music or a podcast. Even chatting to a passenger. Also getting directions from a SatNav. This “overkill of technology” is spoiling driving experience & doing the opposite of its intentions and just to say I am not against technology. I don’t think drivers need a car to tell them about speed limits. If this is something that Nissan is imposing on its customers I will not be considering Nissan cars as a possible purchase or even recommending to anyone. At least as a customer you should have a choice.
@NewtHew
@NewtHew 3 ай бұрын
This is not a Nissan thing unfortunately - its an EU regulation that was implemented as of 1st July 2024. The chime is just Nissan's implementation of said system, but by law it must be there.

0:32 who are these "many people" he's referring to? By 2006 we were already on to the SECOND generation Rav4, and CRV. There was the Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, and Mitsubishi Pajero IO (and Outlander) which debuted 3-4 years prior. I'm sorry but I can't think of a single person who thought the Qashqai kickstarted any segment. Not to mention Nissan's own Xtrail predates the Quashqai

I wanted to do a full EV but the infrastructure is minimal. Mway stns have queues waiting to charge, maybe an hour or more with 30mins charging on top. Hybrids are becoming important for a good while we wait for underfloor charging, that's the only way especially on homes streets.

@seltaeb3302
@seltaeb3302 5 ай бұрын
No. Austral has computer decides which power source, ICE or Electric motor to power wheels, quite complicated meshing. Nissan has simplified it as ICE charges bty only & only electric motor drives the wheels. No meshing required. In town you brake a lot & that also charges bty by Regen & the ICE won't be used that much.
