He's contradicting himself over and over. Glad she's pointing that out.
@BookofNote Жыл бұрын
Actually it is Lila who is not only contradicting but who is flat out lying. The Bible does not condemn polygamy. In fact, it condones it. Some might argue that Christ has only one wife, the church. Therefore, we are not to have more than one wife either. The problem with this reasoning is, Christ does not have only one wife. He has two. Indeed, the church is depicted as His wife (Ephesians 5:25-32; Revelation 19:7-8), but so is the New Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven (Revelation 21:9-27). Now, an overseer or a deacon is only to have one wife. This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, . . . . Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, . . . (1 Timothy 3:1-2, 12; see also Titus 1:6). One of the qualifications of a bishop (literally "overseer") and a deacon (literally "servant") is that he be the husband of one wife. If he were to have two or more, he could not hold either position. Why? It doesn't say. One can only wonder if it is because of the additional "cares about the things of the world" (1 Corinthians 7:33) another wife brings. In the beginning the Lord indeed formed one man and one woman and the two became one flesh (Genesis 2:24; Genesis 1:31; Mark 10:6-8). Whether it be in a monogamous marriage or a polygamous marriage, the two still become one flesh. The man becomes one flesh with each of his wives. We know this by the fact that even if a man has sex with a harlot, he nonetheless becomes one flesh with her. As it is written, Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." (1 Corinthians 6:16) Therefore, the two becoming one still applies to each union in a polygamous marriage. Many find the idea of polygamy a bad thing. But, Ecclesiastes depicts it as a good thing. If a man begets a hundred children and lives many years, so that the days of his years are many, but his soul is not satisfied with goodness, or indeed he has no burial, I say that a stillborn child is better than he (Ecclesiastes 6:3). Living many years is typically regarded as a good thing (e.g. Proverbs 3:2; Ephesians 6:3). Having children is explicitly stated to be ''a reward" (Psalm 127:3). Having "a hundred children" depicts having more than one wife. For example, Gideon had seventy sons who were his own offspring, for he had many wives. (Judges 8:30) Ecclesiastes 6:3 depicts polygamy as a good thing, not a bad thing. Although according to this verse, it clearly takes more than long life and many children to be "satisfied with goodness." The wisest man who ever lived (1 Kings 3:12) said, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing." Who's to say it's an evil thing to find more than one? God doesn't say it, and neither should we. Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. (Proverbs 30:5-6) Finally, the first verse given in this article was the Song of Songs 6:8. At the time, evidently Solomon had 60 wives and 80 concubines. Yet, the one of whom this song sings really stood out among them all. My dove, my perfect one, is the only one, the only one of her mother, the favorite of the one who bore her. The daughters saw her and called her blessed, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her. (Song of Solomon 6:9) The other wives praise this fellow wife.
@mellieg.7543 Жыл бұрын
@@BookofNote first I am well aware that polygamy is described in the OT, but to say it was upheld as an ideal and condoned is very very wrong. Finally The Bible definitely portrays monogamy as better as this was God's original design. (God only made Eve for Adam, not Eve, Janet, and Barbara for Adam) And in Mathew Jesus very clearly says "a man leaves his father and mother and is joined with his wife...they are no longer TWO but ONE flesh" not "A man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wives....They are no longer TWO or THREE or even FOUR but one flesh". To say a man and his concubines is included in that "one flesh" is a very klunky interpretation. You are entitled to that interpretation, but I am entitled to find fault in it.

If someone challenging u to expand ur mentality is “annoying” then there’s a deficiency within ur own mentality & maturity. He’s living purely selfishly cz being a father & husband goes beyond providing. As a man, he won’t even be able to protect his “multiple” family during a robbery if he’s out sleeping with other chicks. Even the amount of love he gives his “multiple” families is going to be limited bcz he won’t be committed to 1 person. Essentially, he’ll be no different than a deadbeat dad who sees his family a couple times a month. These are all basic things he knows but doesn’t like being called out on. He isn’t someone ppl should look up to & should be deplatformed cz he promotes false narratives that’s damaging to society.

saying "women are always gonna be jealous" and "i don't care about your marriage, i am talking about mine" when she says that as a woman she is not jealous, is the epitome of being in contradiction with you own words!

This is why open dialogue is so important. Until this interaction, I didn’t see how weak, defensive, and illogical Justin’s views are. It’s so selfish and when we’re thinking about it, it shouldn’t be, it can’t be. I would have even previously called myself a fan of Justins. Lila, thank you so much. I will be following more of your content.

I'm glad they got an intelligent and well-spoken woman like Lila on the podcast. All of these interviews with young onlyfans girls are not a representation of the women you come across everyday in real life but they are making a lot of men have negative attitudes towards all women through the words of a few young women who are still finding their way in life.

I always thought Justin seemed fairly chill, but this whole interaction with Lila is a huge L for him. He came across as defensive, awkward, attempting to be dismissive but too offended to truly be dismissive, aggressive in a way that was both unnecessary and totally inappropriate when speaking to a non-aggressive woman, and all around just douchey. He also lacked almost any semblance of the logic he usually uses to explain or attack beliefs - his only answer seemed to be, "Don't tell me what to do, I will live how the f*** I want. I don't answer to you." and none of that works for this show - it is a show about discussing and contrasting beliefs. Lila wasn't demanding he answer to her or do what she says, she was asking legit questions and contrasting opinions and he went off the rails. Disappointed in the other two guys for not stepping up and calling him out on that.

I agree, it's very sad the other guys didn't call him out several times for unnecessary aggression and straight out insulting her for just asking questions. I thought that also, why go on this type of show about discussing different ideas and get mad when someone asks you questions?
@anaguillen5063 Жыл бұрын
I agree with that completely. I notice at the other man didn’t call them out on any of the stuff. They’re so quick to call out on women stuff. Which I completely understand. Because a lot of women act very entitled these days. And they are not aware at all how it can be difficult for a man to pick up a woman and go on a date with women. But this guy is there and the Brain is quite.
