You're spot on. Such a great singer song-writer. I saw him at Poor David's Pub in front of 50 people. in Dallas. After the show I walked up to him and said, "Some day you'll be rich and famous." He looked at me and said, "no one deserves that," and laughed.

This song is SO GOOD. out of so many amazing 90s songs this gets slept on so hard. Atlantic should pay out a little money to get this higher in search results and on 90s comps and playlists

A great song about wrong wrong wrong. Johnston's songs are often about troubled loners and cover topics like heartbreak, alienation, and disappointment. Known for his songcraft, he has been described as a "songwriter's songwriter"
