Sounds about right. Calling the police on false pretenses to swarm some random guy minding his business has to be a crime. It also seems likely the the police tackled him violently and considered the accusation of terrorism as "believable" only because the guy looked arab. If he was stading around wearing denims and a baseball cap they would have adressed him in a different way.

That officer saying you can’t drive without driver license issued in USA makes you wonder how does he think tourists drive when they visit 🤦🏽♂️
@Unknown_Error_707_8 ай бұрын
If you are a foreigner in the U.S. you are allowed to drive with the foreign driver license up to 4-6 months in most states, but after that you need to get an IDP (International Driving Permit), which last about a year or so, but after those 4 months it's illegal without a permit. Extra info : You must get an IDP before your trip, since the U.S. does not issue IDPs to foreign visitors and to get an IDP, contact the motor vehicle department of the country that issued your driver's license.

@Mr70000837 ай бұрын
This seems to be an American police problem. People from other countries are allowed to drive in America without going through the process to get another license. There has been many clips of cops pulling people over and trying this bullshit. If you needed an American license to drive there, how would ANY of the land border crossings work? Stop and think for half a second. That's saying millions of people/truck drivers are driving illegally at the Canadian and Mexican borders. That amount of thinking is diffuclt for American police though. It's basic logic! Edit: Don't forget the fact that Americans think their license entitles them to drive anywhere in the world but assume that everyone elses licenses don't afford them the same privilages.

Second one is obviously a case of people either growing up poor or coming from a poor country where it was socially accepted to steal small things and not get punished for it because nobody could afford bothering with it / the systems weren't solid enough to catch them in the act. I've seen it before, it's entitlement born out of poverty and poor education, at least in the "community" part. There's a lot of work needed to be done in order for these people to stop being assholes like that because that's been hardcoded into their morals ever since they were babies.

You still can't break traffic laws in the country you visit without getting the normal punishment. I'm sure they sorted the other charges out when he got done for speeding and fleeing/eluding. Miami Florida gives drivers license to non-English-speaking people. there’s even police officers in Miami Dade county who don’t speak English or they refuse to.
@SmokeyChipOatley8 ай бұрын
So now you need to speak English to drive in the US? You couldn't even put your xenophobia aside for 5 minutes to pay attention to the video. The narrator explicitly says that you are legally allowed to drive in most US states for a period of time as long as you have a license issued from your home country and provide one when questioned. The charges were dropped and the English speaking police officer was reprimanded for being an ignorant imbecile like you. I'd much rather road trip across the country alongside a hundred licensed non English speaking foreigners than risk my life having to spend 5 seconds at a 4 way stop with a slack-jawed idiot with a double digit IQ such as yourself who is bothered by the idea of a bilingual police officer. I know you could do better. I believe in you. Bless your heart.

@Legend-zo9bc8 ай бұрын
I had a feeling with the last one that he was innocent, police went to 10 straight away. No reason they couldn't have approached him calmly, why did they go to 10 straight away? How did the desk clerk know he was pledging allegiance to ISIS? I mean who does that even if they are involved in terrorism? Clueless 🤨 Also RE Turkish dude, Police need to brush up on foreign nationals driving in the US, this is not the first time I have seen someone arrested based on a lack of knowledge. Cop banned for 12 hours? joke.
@ferret92638 ай бұрын
To be fair, the scumbag desk clerk and sister made it sound like he was a terrorist. Police take that kind of thing VERY seriously. Yes, the man was innocent, but the police were simply led on by the scumbags who falsely reported the UAE Embassy staff member and were just doing their job.

3rd case ... The law of letting people from 3rd world countries drive for 6 months is more that ridiculous if you have ever experienced how their road movement looks like. 4th case - what is the police fault there? They did the job they were called for. If they said something stupid - try to stay calm if there is potentially someone wearing a bomb /gun and potentially being a terrorisst. Person calling for them should go to jail, not officers.

1st case is scary in 2 ways - if a man, who goes crazy over a woman and start stalking her, he can go to prison. But if a 'lady' has 3 tinder dates a day with 3 different guys just to get 3 free meals and she does it quite often - thats legal. I think some of 'modern' woman behaviours should be treated like this stalker, who was in fact a psychopath (check definition of psychopath and getting free meels without being anyhow interested in person paying for that meets the definition as well). Same applies to internet - you can be absolute degenerate 'streamer' getting drunk/high on the stream and have extremely bad influence on kids watchin it - thats legal. It is time the goverments adjust law to new, modern reality...
