I swear I would love to buy a book written by Ryan George and his creative thoughts of life. Whether it’s a storybook of him or just things being oddly pointed out that makes you question “why does that exist.”

The home owner is canonically the time traveling reporter, since he used to be “livin in the 90s”

I love the intro and the transitions with the door closing, such real renovation show vibes

As someone who was dragged to construction sites and new homes in the 90s every weekend/summer to help with cabinet installation... those are very much a late 90s style. Good research Ryan! It's the details that make it believable.

I'll happily live in the 90's over that goddamn 80's yellow flower wallpaper.

Mate this is amazing, the uncanny effect from the familiarity, Ryan is truly afraid of Reno shows, bravo Vince 👏

love how you actually gave a reason renovation man knew so much. like you didn't need to do that I was onboard with the absurdist explanation of "he just does" but you went the extra mile of giving an explanation. Good job 6/5 stars
