This apply ti every social media. Take instagram for example, in there you only see people enjoying their life doing super cool stuff. But the reality is that 90% of their lives is mundane, boring and full of struggles. Linkedin is just following the same logic and is actually far less toxic than Instagram as most people use it only to apply for jobs and get noticed by potential employers without sharing corporate BS.

A guy in my postgraduate classes copied other people's assignments the whole way through the qualification. At the end of the semester, he wrote a cheesy message on LinkedIn saying hard work and study got him through and he never acknowledged the hard work was done by other students he copied. LinkedIn has always seemed extremely fake to me. People strive to portray themselves as well-adjusted corporate workers or even leaders, and in many cases, it's a far cry from their true personalities. This is the reason I stay completely off that platform and I've never had trouble finding a job in my field over the last 6 years.

Overtime abuse is sickening. I’ve been in that situation. The company gaslights you into thinking that you’re being a slacker or selfish for wanting to go home at 8pm, or not work on the weekends. And when I brought up the whole “I’m working hours and not getting paid for them” thing they would become angry, as if I were being insolent or greedy. I remember one fatass manager bellowing “Look, this is a CAREER!” As if that made it okay to steal hundreds of hours per year from me.

Turn to Christ, and repent and turn from all sin and unprofitable things, so you can be forgiven and seen righteous in his eyes, to the only one that matters. Everything on this earth will be destroyed, lost, rot and rust but with him you will be renewed, where death has no sting, fear is beaten, peace that surpasses all understanding, He gave his life for us, let us give ours in return, and live for him, so we can be after his own heart, to be accepted by the King the greatest honor.

The worst thing about corporations is toxic positivity, no doubt with that. If you come from real life troubles and situations that make harder for you to be happy and smile with no reason, than corporates still expect you to fake happiness and be overly positive about a lame 9 to 5 job that pays your bills, mostly.

Then they have “mandatory overtime” policies where everyone is expected to work a minimum of 50-60 hours per week. No vacations allowed. Damn, Josh, you really do have professional editing experience. You should be in Hollywood or with a media company.

Keeping it simple and no need to overthink it, nice editing, short format, the progressive reveal makes it funnier... this could have come out of an ad agency. Well done

LinkedIn honestly makes me laugh every time I go on. An entire platform for people to glad hand and j#rk each other off. Incredible.

That's why I could never stand being on LinkedIn. If you thought that people act fake on regular social media, this is social media with every post also being a mini job application letter to every recruiter out there.
