Its pretty normal for Parents to show care for their child. My Dad spanked me literally once in my entire life. He was very passive and chill, but he was a kind Dad. The difference is I respected him, I looked around and understood we had a good life, and I felt fortunate. People have a choice to make. You can be abused for example and pass that abuse on, but its not an excuse, because you can be abused and think, "I never want that to happen to anyone else". That's the difference between good and bad people, one learns and one attempts to get power back by continuing the abuse. Same with this girl and literally anyone, they failed themselves.

I feel SO bad for that last mom. She tried so hard to calm her daughter down. The cop even told her to stop accusing her mom for her ending up in that situation. That mom looks so exhausted honestly. The daughter's acting is her fault though. It was her responsibility to raise her and you can see she cannot even raise her voice in such situation.
@itsmeleenie3 ай бұрын
@ondrejpalata8979 Yes, completely agree that parents are also responsible for the way their children behave! I just think that people also need to hold these teens accountable for their own actions. My brother acted out as a teen and my parents corrected him every time. Sure, there were things they could have done better, but my parents did the best they could to both discipline him and help him. Teens hang out with the wrong crowd, and that is another factor that influences their behavior. I'm almost certain this girl hangs out with people just like her. It's a pity that woman allowed her daughter to grow up with that kind of behavior, but there are things out of her control that I'm sure contributed to her behavior, such as the media, peers, extended family, etc. If her mom would have been more aware perhaps, or taught her skills to not be easily influenced (if that was the case) or to cope with anger, perhaps she would have been different. Truly a shame, but she did what she did and has to bear the consequences.

My sister is an abuser. It is very real. The manipulation men go through at the hands of women would turn anyone insane. Men shouldn't hide behind male pride or machismo. Admit to what happened. Women need to take responsibility for the abuse they inflict on others. It will just keep the cycle of abuse going around the longer they stay quiet.

im 38 so ive been detained a few times throughout my life, since ive never done anything wrong it was generally a mistaken identity, ive only been put in cuffs ONCE and its only because the rookie (i assume, he was really young) cop was really nervous (like panic attack nervous, poor guy) so his superior asked if he could cuff me to calm his partner, i said sure, he calmed down his partner than took them off once he was convinced I was no threat. Comply/dont be a dick and you'll be fine, if the cops do anything illegal fight it in court. and yes one of those arrests I got taken to the station cause i didn't have any ID on me and my neighbour insisted i was building a bomb or something (They grabbed me on my way home from work, never really got the details). Aside from one cop who was mildly rude to me (and was told off for it) it was as pleasant an experience as getting arrested could be, once my appointed lawyer showed up we dealt with some paperwork and they confirmed my identity I got set loose.

I worked with kids like that for a long time and I have a lot of empathy for that disposition. She has likely experienced a lot of trauma including their recent food insecurity, and who knows her home life or living situation. We always had to be so gentle and patient while they freaked out, so it’s incredibly satisfying to see it dealt with by the law. With luck, she’ll realize that her behavior will ruin her life unless she does something different. 29:13

I’ve had people scream near my ear and it takes a lot of effort to not try to suffocate them. One screamed so loud that I was hearing bells ringing. I’ve fired an M4 (military assault rifle) without ear protection (not smart) and it didn’t ring as bad. The problem with making screaming an assault is not it’s subjective for the cop to charge you with it. Cops already to shady things like illegally put their foot in your doorway so they can claim assault if you try to close the door.
