Couple of things about nutcrackers: They get quicker when left on 1 hp (faster shooting and faster reloading too, I think), so ideally you'd want to land 2 final hits when they start reloading. Also you can hit them anywhere with a shovel, no need to aim for the eye and risk missing a hit. Source: "Quickest Nutcracker Guide Lethal Company" video. All thanks to Bread, not me.

jester was one of the most terrifying when the game first released. it’s still up there especially in terms of danger although other monsters can be more lethal [no pun intended] at times

I saw a short video and it was a guy in the mansion running from a jack in the box, it was really fast and creepy, so I googled the game and found insym playing it and have been watching it for about two three weeks now. The jester still creeps me out and I don't play it 🤣😂

Jester it's still the strongest enemy in the game and i don't think that will change so easily. Lethal Company is all about time, Jester is a immortal enemy that constantly will make all your crew escape from the facitlity. You can't explore deeper and gatter more itens if he encounters someone, this makes the crew waste a lot of time after every cycle.

​@@mreggs3731The ghost girl is harmless. You can still explore deep and dodge her when she hunts you, Jester just runs your whole crew down

​@xPandamon jester is more of a run killer while ghost girls can go follow you until you leave/go outside although it only spawns on titan, rend, etc (hard maps). also there can be more than one ghost girl making it impossible to live, jesters can only have one at a time.

Yesterday, my team had a winding up jester at the main entrance, our whole team is on the other side of the map, the fire exit behind a locked door, and a spider blocking our path to the main entrance, we all died

I don't play lethal company but I love watching videos about it (especially from insym) and jesters are the scariest monsters to me by far. something about hearing their insanely quick footsteps rapidly approaching you from far off, way faster than you can ever outrun, seems to like activating my fight or flight

One thing I hope they add which I'm not sure if I'm alone in this, is I wish they removed the darkness filter when you were dead. So you can see better than the living people and watch them be stalked by things they cant see.

Yeah Titan has a serious loot density / monster issue. I mean it doesn't really bother me since there are two other moons that serve the exact same late game function, just kind of a waste of a moon until we get moon specific interiors or something.

Yo one thing insym. If you scan the lockers you usually find more items, stuck inside but you can still grab em. I often find 3 items in a locker with scanning, without scanning I would’ve maybe gotten 2 / 3

Actually, the worst combo is the Dog, monkey Bird, giant, and mimic/zombie... You have to be quiet or the dog will hear you, but you have to make noise to deter the monkey birds... You have to stay hidden or the giant will see you, but if you dont run for your life the mimic will get you. Put them all together and you have a bad time. 😂

just for clarifaction, Jev (Tentacle Monster at Company) has different moods, and will be angerier or calmer depending on what you get. Also, Talking with Voice Chat also makes Jev Respond, it isnt JUST the bell. sometimes me and my friends items have been sold without us pressing the bell just because we were talking a lot.

Not sure if it will be fixed in a patch but as of this moment you can get a map where the main entrance is blocked off from fire escape I can confirm 100% has happened to me recently

Curious if the scan is bugged sometimes. We had a moment on Assurance where we went everywhere no stoned unturned and yet it said there was nearly a dozen items left valued at over 500. I left the planet out of disgust.

btw mansion layout on titan isnt actually that good, as titan's mansion is like twice as big as rend's/dine's since the map size multiplier works differently for the two interiors. meaning titans multiplier of 2.35 that usually applies to the faciltiy map applies to the mansion map. (for comparison, rend's multiplier is 1.2 and dine's is 1.3, so titan is pretty much double the size of the other two.) making the loot spread within the mansion really thin and spread out

While this is true, titan can also spawn almost double the loot of Rend or Dine and so the density of loot isnt as bad as it sounds. It depends pretty heavily on the RNG of the seed. Overall, consistency of Rend and Dine will definitely be higher on average than Titan, however, I think Titan still fills a great role of being the highest loot amount available

For da skinwalkers, I usually have voice stealing off for everything except the actual humanoid or intelligent monsters, like the Bracken, Coil-Head, and sometimes Jester. Especially if the Bracken would have a lure mode, and only skinwalk at that point, maybe only stealing dead players' voices. Go full cool-mode and make it only steal the voices of players it has killed, but of course this would ruin the massive amounts of Bracken events from Brutal Company-esque mods, although I guess you're not playing for a cohesive experience with those mods. Actually, the inside monsters need to interact more and have more counterplay in both directions, meaning you can bamboozle them but they can bamboozle you as well as each other. That's always what I feel misses in games, the AI is too formulaic and too hard-coded, especially towards only player-interaction. Some monsters should have complicated brain patterns so you don't know exactly what to expect. _Especially_ making it so they can get greedy and whiff would make LC so much more than "har har funny scary game with obvious exploitable shortcomings of the AI" and more "har har funny scary game with deep gameplay". Obviously you'd have both intelligent monsters and simple monsters. I also know it's not as simple as "make monsters more complex", as it has to be fun OR interesting enough to keep it replayable but also not overshadow the rest of the game completely, but I think that's the logical next step in terms of good horror: unscripted high level play from the threats. There should be some semblance of an ecosystem or hierarchy, not hyperrealistic graphics (not mutually exclusive though, I just feel strongly that graphics get more praise than the systems, and that high-end computers should not be a requirement to play such games). Again, I'm not saying it's simple to achieve, but would definitely be worthwhile. Maybe this is too much for LC and more of something that should become its own game, since LC's core loop wasn't designed on top of an ecosystem simulation. However, I've began designing much of the systems that go into such a complex beast, and it's the complete opposite of spaghetti, so maybe it's completely worthwhile to implement (even partially) into any game. It's really just a dynamic-state machine, so it's not even too complicated. This type of AI would save developers from a lot of the spaghetti and set-in-stone code that you would get otherwise from a finite-state machine without much boilerplate or annoyingly complex APIs. (Especially when it comes to diverse confrontations.) Testing needed though. Idk, there's my 2-3am thoughts on game design. Yes, I spent an hour writing this comment. On a phone. At 2 am. It is now 3:18. Funny video so far though! Enjoyed the landmine-coilhead incident and I thought you had the mimic mod when you got insta-killed by that eyeless dog at the fire escape.
