Notes: When you know what you want. What are we? I prefer to state what I want to see. Negotiate what is possible. You get battle weary.......... put out a positive message of what you are trying to create: "It's nice to have someone to share things with.......I value having a partner to do things with" Highlight the benefits of what WE want..... We cannot be afraid to articulate our dream? Afraid to state what I want?...don't be afraid, paint your dream, share that goal. attraction, seduction, encouragement, clarification, shared goals...allow them to see image of what you want to create. move on to the next if they do not like your attempt to communicate. Well said.

You're brilliant Susan. You analyze each topic so clearly and logically, and you're a great speaker to boot. It's clear that much of your content is based on loads of experienced, but you're also knowledgeable in dating games, psychology and human behavior. Not the typical KZbin coach! All of that makes your videos worth watching. I discovered your content months ago after a breakup and consumed most of it thus far. Thank you, I'm learning so much from you

thank you for this video I am currently in a situationship and can't wait until this damn "rona" shit is over so that I can jet. I detached myself completely emotionally and started taking care of myself. I reinvented myself, educated myself in a new business, built a clientele in the process; I let him continue to pay ALLLLLLLLLLLLL of the bills, banked my money and came up with a quiet exit strategy. Situationships are the worst, for real, you have got to be strong and get out before it back fires on you. I'm good now, healed from the disappointment and pain. Once I got back into my meditation and went inside and realize my value, I said FUCK him, I better than this bullshit. So he no longer have any affect on me. I am ready for my new beginnig, NO MORE SETTLING I love my Peace Of Mind PRICELESS. Thank you Susan Love your videos.

I had been stuck in a "situationship" for 3 and a half years. I DID state up front what I was looking for and the response was, "lets just see where it goes". This was a man I had dated 20 years ago and felt I might have a 2nd chance. He was married and said he wanted a divorce. I took a chance. Now, they're finally filing for divorce and he told me he can no longer have a relationship with me. So, being up front didnt work for me....but Im hoping it will for the next guy that comes along. My heart is broken and the fact that Im almost 60 isnt helping, timewise. One of my friends said I was pushing him away by trying to define the relationship and having expectations. I only wish it had pushed him away sooner, before my heart got so deeply involved.

My situation has some similarities. He's always said he cannot commit but in reality has to an extent which kept me hopeful but though I try to accept his terms and the good things we share in the present, I'm so frustrated and wish I had the courage to end something that ultimately is going nowhere I want it to.

I was in a situationship for a little over 2.5 years, I think I knew it but didn’t label or understand the rules of it. I believe it’s ended when I realized and learned of the term situationship. I told the guy I was “seeing “ that I didn’t want this and needed to discuss the terms or level up or if he couldn’t level up them I couldn’t be in one. The result was he pretended to go along, said we would talk and see another them turned around and blocked me then discuss. It’s exhausting. I’m sure it’s over and he won’t come back. I do have a question that I haven’t seen you discuss. The “ boundaries “ men place in situationship where they will not share details of their life, won’t invite you over but only come to you, the my way or highway ideology. Why do they do this. Why not just be transparent as give us the option then play their game. I don’t understand the logic. It’s like they can’t give up control on the most mundane things.

Susan, I have only been following for a couple of weeks and I'm so glad I found you! This was one of the most insightful videos on how to share your dream and view on a partnership that I have come across. I'm taking notes and hoping this will help me "market" what I want in a positive light. I like presenting it that way rather than giving the other person the power to "shoot down" the idea of a relationship. I'm tired of getting into situationships and this is the clearest way to begin the relationship conversation. I will view this on repeat until I can confidently use my own words to convey my vision. Thank you!!

I love your videos. Thank you. I have been spending time with a man weekly for 6 months. We are both in our mid 40’s. We talk daily. I have met his family. I asked him a month ago if we were more than friends. (We have kissed once that’s all) he seemed very uncomfortable with this question and kept saying “take things as they come” and why does it have to be in a “category”....he then disappeared for 2 weeks and didn’t talk to me. It hurt me terribly as I really had a lot of feelings for him. He and I began talking again a couple weeks later and he was very clear to me that he does not want a relationship. I am just confused because he calls and texts me several times a day. He asks me to dinner at least once a week. I have gone to outings with his family and his kids. His friends. I just don’t spend THAT much time with a “friend” so I just don’t know where to go and what to think. I do want a relationship....I would love to have that with him but I gave up and accepted “friends” as I didn’t want to lose him out of my life completely. I am always willing to go places with him and I have decided not to be so willing. I am going to make plans outside of our situationship...Confused.

My ex asked me if I would like to move from dating to exclusive. I agreed and assumed we were in a relationship . After a year I found out he told one of his closest friends who had no idea that He had a girlfriend that we were dating . I was shocked and hurt . My ex would often mention this friend and tell me how much he liked him and about his life etc . The friend didn’t know my ex and I were a couple , he didn’t seem to know that I existed . I had met his family several times , another friend a couple of times but this one friend had no idea about Me? I could not understand and I was never given a plausible explanation . So I learned that exclusive doesn’t mean a relationship to some men . Spending all the main holidays with them , every WE with them , meeting family still doesn’t qualify as a relationship ? Well it does to me !

Just because he was his friend, his love life is none of his business. In fact, the more seriously he felt about you, the less likely he would talk about you to a single friend who is banging chicks. Once your serious with a woman, you stop talking about her in detail. Maybe he didnt want his friend talking with alone with you because he know his buddy has a history of poisoning his gf's minds. And here you are. Now your ex has even more reasons he won't be sharing any gf issues with his so called pals.

However he is a great guy but he has not really dated so i dont think hes use to being social or affectionate. is this something i should expect more of as our relationship develops? i dont want to rush and force him to be this person but i do want more of that from him in the future.

Her husband had passed away and 9-months ago before we met and she and I started to date, after few months she went cold on me and though I was never married I could empathise with her, since her husband and my mother both passed with Cancer/ It took me a month to finally understand that her memories of her late husband became too strong. I never got the closure, still don't quite know what happened, since she wants us to be just friends...can you tell us how to deal with late spouses? It'll be of great help to so many of us...fighting a ghost is the hardest thing any of us could do...

Saad nazim Hello Nazim, maybe you met her too soon after the death of her husband. To me 9 months after doesnt sound that long. Probably she is in deep mourning and might not be ready yet for a new relationship even if she wants iT. I would maybe give her some time and space and see what happens. Also maybe you can ask yourself if you want to chase ghosts and if this woman is worth waiting for? From your post you seem really interested so i would give iT time. I speak from a somewhat similiar experience because when i met my partner he wasnt divorced for that long and still mourning the end of his marriage. At first i broke off contact after a few weeks because i felt he was still so sad and i didnt want to be a shoulder to cry on so to say. After a while i reconnected because i realised i really liked him. We have been together now for over five years in a happy committed relationship. I really didnt blame him for being sad because its only human and shouldnt be rushed. But sometimes you just meet someone too soon. All the best of luck!

plantbased sim Well to be honest when it started off she came on pretty strong and I was not in a good place in my life anything and we did connect over pain which I think is a very strong bond to have with anyone; a common denominator so to speak...when she went cold and started to gradually back off I was still climbing the mountain with all my emotions in my backpack I think it’s one of the most painful feelings in the world when you can give the other person all the love you have gathered and there is no reciprocity maybe it’s too early as you say but I lost myself in those initial two months
@fahad561
@fahad561 5 жыл бұрын
plantbased sim Something also hurts me more than anything else is that initially it was a “phase” which turned into a notion and she just wanted to be friends from being so intimate with someone as to unveil your scars to them And then go back covering everything and pretending as if it doesn’t really matter I’ve started to question so many things about myself; a lover; a friend; a person etc... it’s just been that way and I really don’t know what to do...
@simini1837
@simini1837 5 жыл бұрын
Saad nazim Hello, iT must be very difficult for you both. From mourning the death of loved ones myself i have experienced that grief comes in phases. So iT could be that in the beginning she came accross as very strong but after a while the loss really “kicks in”. But this is all speculating, i dont know her. If you are in a difficult place yourself and you have trouble being friends with her instead of lovers i would maybe distance myself a bit. Work on yourself first and become more stable, the best version of yourself. Dont doubt yourself, you are worthwhile! In the meantime she can figure out her life and what she wants with iT. I wish you all the best!

@bakhtzaman: Your comments offended my readers. I was asked by several dedicated followers to remove the sexual comments you left. Please understand that these open platforms are for sharing information. I'm not a dating service, nor am I comfortable with sexual information unrelated to any article or video. If you can refrain from offending my viewers, then we can talk about opening the channels up again.

@bakht zaman... Please don't ask for bobs and vagene pics on Susan Winter channel. Understand difference between appropriate and inappropriate comments. Just because she is white does not mean that she will tolerate inappropriate comments on her channel. It is not for her but for her audience. You and your loved ones are one of her audiences too.

I will be turning 50 in two months. Who wants a 50 year old single male? I guess I'll be single forever. I don't own a yacht.

Funny , all this time " you don't need a man ". Yet, spend your life worrying if you can lock one down.
