Something about the money distribution feels off to me. In boardgames, you will hear complaints about when the mechanisms let the 'rich get richer'. Eventually you hit a point where some players are so under-resourced that they are just making up the numbers and ought to quit, only unlike in Monopoly, you're not eliminated. The prize money should mean nothing for the English FA, especially against the amount generated by the Premier League, but maybe putting those kinds of resources to help smaller nations build coaching academies, and youth centres of excellence would do a lot to help places like Albania get better (and keep the major nations fighting to get better)

The Host country pays for the staging of the tournament not Uefa. Like this year in Germany the city's pay for the transport for the infrastructure for the security for the pre-parties and everything else and gat no Money from Uefa.

Most of my videos are centred on companies based in the United Kingdom. For those, company accounts posted at Companies House are extremely useful. For this video specifically UEFA post a detailed financial report every year which gives all the insights into their revenues and spends. Long read but I’m a nerd and I find it all fascinating 😅
