One of my favorite stories that relates to this; There was a man (Chicago area I think) who was not Jewish, he was terminally ill. He went to a Rabbi and said I want to convert. I don’t have much time, but I must die a Jew. The Rabbi kind of drug his feet, didn’t know what to do. Some time past, and what this Rabbi didn’t know was the man “jumped the chain of command” and wrote to the Rebbe, he told him the situation and that he needed help because he REALLY needed to convert. The Rabbi some time later, ended up getting a letter from the Rebbe about a different matter and at the end of the letter he wrote......”remember the conversion is as much for the Soul as it for healing the body”. (I am paraphrasing, the Rabbi who told me did a much better job!) B”H The man did convert in a timely manner, AND his body miraculously healed. I love this video, thank you for sharing!! I was just last night checking to make sure I hadn’t missed anything from you! I have missed your uploads! I know mom life is A LOT. My children are loving your creative workbooks! Maybe, some ancestors too where actially born Jewish, but in the middle ages, some where forced to convert to Christianity. There was a very dark time of inquisitor and progromes in the middle ages too.

That’s what happened in my father’s line. Spanish Jews who were converted but supposedly kept cryptic practices for several hundred years. Somewhere that was lost.

How did Abraham become Jewish... he converted... Ruth is probably the most well known convert and she became the matriah of the Davidnic dynasty...

If you are sincere and really put in the work, Hashem will accept you, despite the Jewish people.
