I am gonna tell you now. The creator of She-Hulk specifically indicated that. The Overly muscular version of She-Hulk is NOT cannon. It was a side project due to the artist wanted the Hulk comics but ended up assigned to She-Hulk and then changed the character to be purely muscular. So no. Not cannon. An yes you can look it up. I just don't have the time.

I’ve only read that Dan Slott run and honestly I found it forgettable but the John Byrne stuff is probably the one I’m most eager to read and I have others on my pile

Hi Redright dude dat Dan Slott run was overall dogshit, Had some cool ass moments here and there. John Byrne run is where it's at and Peter David is ok, To me John Byrne is the bench mark of she hulk. All the other writers run on she hulk are most dog shit and subpar. I a highly recommend to avoid the utter ultra dog shit she hulk tv series, It's sexist against men, belittling of male achievments, female entitled empowerment agenda pushing crap, makes out as if she hulk is a boss bitch and a slut, Which is so not true according to comic canon. I have to be honest I don't find she hulk appealing, John Byrne really made me like her, as she was an smart ass lawyer and sort of a bimbo before John Byrne's run, gave us a deeper look at her character. I am a fan of her's but not enough to buy her comics every month or anything like that. I love to play as her in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Bruce Banner aka Hulk is just way more better with way more depth.

Yeah, gonna have to challenge you on that Jason Aaron She-Hulk recommendation. Long time fans of the character DESPISE his take on her. It’s not an accurate followup to the Mariko Tamaki interpretation of the character and his take on her completely rewrites her entire history and paints it under a very unsettling and out of character light. It might be the most accessible, but you’re essentially recommending for people to read the worst take on the character done by a writer who essentially didn’t want to use her in the book and instead turned her into something he wanted, which was the Hulk. Personal recommendations for team books featuring her are the Roger Stern Avengers and the John Byrne F4, which you did acknowledge toward the end of the video. But as a massive fan of the character I can’t in good faith see someone recommend Aaron’s take on the character for a first time viewer. It’s a horrendous, out of character mess that reduces her to all her worst traits and does more to push back against what she’s supposed to represent then support it at all.

What’s worse is Aaron’s arrogance towards fans who are critical and you can tell he was pissed when he had to revert She Hulk back to her original form. In short I lost a lot of respect for Aaron after that. That and his Avengers run sucked.

Dont know a huge amount about She Hulk outside the main Hulk book and the animated Hulk series. World war hulk is definitely a worthy follow-up to Planet Hulk though but doesn't quite reaches PH level. Byrnes run from little I saw didn't look like it was for me. Art looks fab though. ​@@JennySparkz yes I do. It was well I believe down at least partially a post I did there. I won't go into it. I'm not 100% certain because well I've heard nothing off Maddogg at all. Wish he'd PM me about it or something or a community post so we'd know where we all stand. If he took offence by what I wrote then I wish he'd pulled me to one side and I would've apologised to him and left if that's what he wanted. The other mod gave me a unofficial statement to say to everyone "Marcus has decided to put the Subreddit to rest".
