All Stars did have some strengths. I’ll debate the pre merge was decent and I acc loved episodes 1-2, the boxing episode and the moon one. TDPI had no memorable episodes AT ALL and derailed already bad characters really badly (Dave, Scarlett) and just had such an awful cast with boring interactions and plots

I really don’t know how Ella, Sammy, Shawn, Sky or even Max was a likeable character. All Ella did was sing and get herself eliminated doing so. Sammy was a pushover and was so annoying to not punish her sister with a more strategic way than to just yell at Amy. Shawn did nothing but talk nonsense about zombies. Sky was probably the most boring character in the series. She did absolutely nothing and she had no character. (In the Roblox game, when theres a tie the reason Sy gets eliminated is because she has little to no personality whatsoever, not that it adds anything to my point anyway) Max was just a wannabe villain who, like 99% of the cast, didn’t do jack rabbit.

Pahkitew introduced a couple of good things. Not all characters were bad, not all challenges were bad, there was a genuine attempt here. All-Stars butchered so many fan favorites beyond repair. I think it's clear which is worse.

All stars destroyed many of the characters. It also has the infamous episode where Courtney character development gets thrown out the window. Everyone was made stupid so mal could look intimidating. Plus once you see that many of the all stars are returning winners you can easily narrow it down to who legit has a chance of winning. Infamous character derailment - zoey being so gullible and stupid - Lindsey not knowing how to push(though at least she left early) -Gwen suddenly cares on what everyone thinks about her( though I still kinda of like her - mike and mal - Heather not taking the immunity idol with her - Alejandro is now weaker - Scott is no longer a scheming villan (though he was entertaining and probably was the best character in the show) - Cameron back to the bubble and didn’t realize mal sooner -Sam cheating in the episode he gets eliminated - Duncan being a lame bad boy and now cares what Courtney thinks about him -Courtney having a potential redemption arc from being bossy and mean to her season 1 self…only for the stupid sundae episode to ruin all her development revert her back to her annoying self in season 2 and 3 and essentially getting ready to backstab everyone making majority of the season worthless to watch Funny enough I feel like lighting and Jo didn’t get derailed since they felt the same Oh and sierra had the potential to show her true power now that Cody is not a distraction instead she became even more obsessed

The fact that the people on the villains team never really got along is ironic considering in other media the villains are shown that they can have great teamwork like in Mickey’s House Of Villains where Jafar told Hook, Cruella, Ursula, and Hades that he had a plan but he the others have to wait until midnight and when the time came it worked as the villains had now taken over the House Of Mouse albeit temporarily but still Also Rodney kinda felt like a worse version of Brock from the Pokémon anime

Both TDAS and TDPI are hated seasons for 7 reasons why: Total Drama All-stars: Character derailments, awful villain, interactions with no development, predictable eliminations, just one challenge per episod, reset button and bad finale. Total Drama Pahkitew Island: Overexagerrating stereotypes that makes them too cartoony and not easy to relate to them, awful/unrealistic characters, the cast feels very isolated to each other, lack of a stable villain, the challenges, character interaction plots with poor executions and again bad finale.

Unpopular but true, All Stars used to be my favorite season as a kid simply because it took the old and new cast and made them meet. When I rejoined the fandom I realized how muddy it is, and that ROTI was so much better, being the last season with OG writing. But PI will always remain the worst for me.

As much as i dislike Pahkitew , i might give it a slight edge since All-Stars took the serious damage with characters that were reduntant to begin with. As the writing was poorly executed in all aspects. Plain and boring. And i disagree with Dave being insufferable as that trait goes to Sugar. Who should've been eliminated from the get-go, so the writers could've utilized the plot better with Scarlett's antagonistic role, but we know how messy that got.

I agree that All-Stars should’ve had better contestants back like Owen, LeShawna, Harold, Cody, Noah, Brick, Dawn and B and that everyone should’ve been smart about knowing that Mal has took control of Mike from when we first see him and not be a bunch of dummies and idiots about it but I would say that Pahkitew Island is the worst because like you said the only few really good contestants on that 2nd half of Season 5, aka Season 6 to all of us tbh, is Shawn, Jasmine, Sky and Rodney while everyone else is meh and that season didn’t leave any kind of impact into the Total Drama history books than what All-Stars did and that’s because they had to once again have a new set of contestants but on a new Island since the old island sank but tbh did it really sank if they brought it back for the 2023 version of Total Drama Island!!!

I think Pahkitew would be considered one of the best seasons in the show if it just had more time. The producers should have just axed All Stars altogether and doubled Pahkitew's runtime and just had eliminations be every other episode to compensate for the shorter cast. It would have given them more room to breathe and grow and properly go through their arcs and relationships.

With Pahkitew, it's fun to watch when you know you're not supposed to take anything seriously, even when stuff like Dave drags the season down. With All-Stars, you have such high hopes for these characters that you got to know over the last four seasons only for the season to make Trent's derailment in Action look like nothing. Personally, I think of it this way: which is worse? A season that derails once beloved characters to the point they feel like a caricature of their original selves, or a season that offers new but boring contestant? Pakithew Island has many miss characters, but some are rather likable, like Jasmine, Shawn or Ella. In All Star everyone got ruined in some way, which is just sad to see.

Although All Stars was just so awful, I would say Pahkitew Island was worse. There were a few characters they didn’t derail completely like Scott, Lighting and I guess Jo too, but in Pahkitew personally there were no characters i liked, most drama was forced and Dave really annoys me. 90% of the Pahkitew Island cast didn’t even want to win, Samey and Amy just wanted to kill each other for the better, Ella was WAY to naive to be a likeable character and Sugar was just Owen if he got derailed horribly and was evil. Leonard just wants to prove he’s a wizard and Shawn wants to escape from zombies. hardly anyone wants to win.

@@sameyfan612 That’s true, hardly any characters changed too much but I wouldn’t say that Duncan,Gwen and Lindsay weren’t derailed. Duncan showed he had a soft side in Island but that was only for an episode or two and here they make it a huge part of his character to be “bad” even though if this happened in Action or World tour he wouldn’t really care. Gwen didn’t care about Courtney and even tried to eliminate her in World Tour so it didn’t make sense that she wanted to be friends again. Lindsay was always dumb, it’s basically her personality but in Action she wasn’t as dumb and in World Tour although she was miles away from not being a moron she still knew how to push and open a door. Scott and Cameron did kind of change but they didn’t get worse. The only major derailment was Alehandro simply telling Mal that he knows who he is and has evidence of it, for absolutely no reason. Other than that, it was a bad season but it wasn’t the derailment that made it worse.

here are some things i’d change about all stars to make it better: - add more and better characters: ex. brick instead of sam, add dawn and b, some of the more likeable and more deservant og cast characters like leshawna, bridgette or trent (my opinion) while also getting rid of sierra. - not absolutely 180 half of the characters’ personalities (ahem- courtney- ahem-) - change MANY things about mal, i still consider him an antagonist with potential if he wasn’t horribly written, like 1- instead of breaking things pointlessly like a toddler, he could manipulate his opponents to get his way. he did, however most of them didn’t contribute anything and were overall stupid. 2- add more depth and backstory to his character, for example; what is his backstory and purpose, there has to be a reason he wants to take over mike. also, make duncan mention more about being in juvie with him. 3- don’t just make him take over for the entire season, bring back mike at times to create more confusion. 4- actually give brains to characters. like i know zoey is naïve and all, but she obviously knew about it yet didn’t do anything. and also, alejandro? he’s a master of manipulation. he could’ve done a LOT more, like making allies to stop him. 5- don’t use the ‘character with disability/illness magically heals at the very end troupe, yeah sure mike and his alters went through a journey throughout the episodes, but at the end, they just pressed a button? i think it would be much cooler if it was in some kind of a ‘boss fight’ style, if you know what i mean. make him become mike again and acknowledge what has happened earlier, so that he can make up for things progressively and actually deserve to win. this is all i can think of at the moment, i’d love to hear more ideas.

I think All Stars is still the worse season for me overall. Pahkitew Island’s characters were really uninteresting for the most part, but they were still brand new characters and we didn’t have any previous connection with them so I didn’t take nearly as much of an issue with the writing as I did with All Stars because these were all new people, this was their introduction. All Stars, meanwhile, featured characters that we’ve already seen before and grew to love, especially seeing the first generation throughout multiple seasons, so seeing them all get butchered like that really hurt. It just felt like a weird insult to the fans watching it. At least the second generation cast didn’t get it as bad, but even they got their share of bad writing. Pahkitew Island is more forgettable and less interesting to talk about, but I think I’d still rather watch that more than All Stars because at least it flows well and does a decent job at entertaining us, but All Stars is just frustrating to sit through.

The season order should have been flipped. Would have loved Shawn and Jasmine over Sam and Sierra. Also I actually like all-stars but I wish Mal was resolved before the finale, I don't even care if they want to still resolve it with the button, Mal should have ended in top 3-4. I absolutely think Zoey deserved to win all of her challenges though, she is shown in Revenge that when she is really trying to win she is the greatest competitor in the series. My personal pick for finale would have been Zoey vs Courtney. But there would have to be some sort of build up between them, Courtney also already established to be annoyed with overly goody two-shoes types so maybe Courtney could have fit back into her antagonist role, playing Scott and Gwen to get further in the game, maybe don't make a stupid out of no-where character boot list. Also I want this final 2 partly because even with the reboot we're still yet to see a double female finale.

in my opinion pahkitew island was one of my favorites my two favorite characters were topher and leonard the delivery of the "i levitated all night" just sold his character to me too bad he got voted out that episode he was one of the funniest characters in total drama and he was the funniest character of that season also i loved topher he was such a subversion of what you would expect you would expect him just to obsess over chris for some reason but they gave him a reason and it was so creative i loved watching topher scheme to get chris's job and his character was so fun he was kind of self absorbent but it was never annoying a lot of pahkitew island's jokes are in the delivery and i love this season i honestly found dave interesting and not annoying he was a neat case study on this type of person and the finally was great it showed the difference between a healthy relationship vs a toxic one and it worked well having shawn and jasmines drama being a misunderstanding and having dave absolutely break down when he found out skye had a boyfriend already that one was also a sort of misunderstanding too but the main difference is that dave never got past the point that it happened and never thought that it could have just been a misunderstanding like how jasmine and shawn did shawn was also a fun character with his "healthy fear of the undead" he was a high rated character for that season of course scarlett was handled a little wrong and maybe max was a little out there in terms of evilness and was kind of cheesy i still loved this season even more than island and action and ESPECIALLY all stars but of course that's just me to make a long story short i loved pahkitew island and it doesnt deserve the hate it got and still gets

I feel like All-Stars would’ve been a great concept but it was introduced way too soon considering the ROTI cast don’t get much screen time along with us having pahkitew right after and after the spin-offs we just get another new set of characters. I haven’t seen the 2023 season but I remember feeling quite disappointed considering we were being hyped up to seeing familiar faces. I just think that if they were going to introduce a new cast then the least they could do was give them more time to be developed like with the first generation.

The problem with pakithew island is that it had no villan , it just had antagonists. Add a character like Heather or Alejandro to the season and it would have been better. Scarlett gets eliminated the episode when she becomes "EVIL" , while Sugar is well gross. Sugar was alright i guess but no where near Heather and Alejandro level. Sky and Dave could have been good if they didn't make Dave a crybaby. All stars is absolute trash. They made Mal , when they have a team of new and old villans. Everyone is just so dumb , Lindsay doesn't know how to push a cart , lightning can't count properly, Jo was okay but her bickering with Heather wasn't funny. Sam shouldn't have been in All Stars in the first place. Heather leaves the safety statue , like bruh is this Heather or is this a robot. Sierra shouldn't have been in all stars. Cameron has suffered brain damage. Duncan is like im a bad boy and can't stop being obsessed with Gwen. Alejandro decides to tell Mal his entire plan cause why not. Courtney, all her development is thrown out the window. Gwen cant think anymore. Zoe has suffered brain damage. Mal is just an edgy Minecraft steve. Ya know what both of these seasons have in common, bad villans and they make chef a npc and chris has lost his mind and wants someone to die.

Mal carried the season. Literally. As much as i hate to say it. Imagine the finale, Mike winning 1 million dollars, he didn't do a thing the whole time! Mal's brains are what got that body of his to that point. Eliminating Alejandro is a big accomplishment Mike couldn't get. At the same time Mal gave a win streak to the "sleepy" Zoey, so if she deserved to win is arguable she wasn't even motivated for the cash. Mike didn't deserve to win at all. At the end they both pretend they did. It ultimately made no difference who of the 2 won, the run for the million lost its point after the main reaponsible for it, Mal, "faded out", could've given it to some helper then i digress. What a severe case of alter ego huh? It's like when Spongebob put the green side on his back 🧽

I like to imagine that if Beardo and Leonard gets the ability to come back for a season, they will have there very own plot point, with Beardo being used for evil while Leonard being used for heroism. The team that holds Beardo will use Beardo to there advantage by having him go to the enemy’s team to do his thing, which is to do annoying sound effects, which will cause them those precious nanoseconds that will allow Beardo’s team to win the challenge and not having to vote someone out, while Leonard on the other hand will have a plot point that is centered around him finding the “Magic Touch”. Even though, he will disappear afterwards (probably until merge), he will use his magic for Truth and Justice. So, pretty much, the average magic wielder from any game out there that has a mage/wizard. It’ll be super cool to see them be utilized to there fullest potential, in this type of way, and I believe with this, they can make it pretty far, though I highly doubt they are still finalist worthy, but a high placement is nothing to scoff over. I wonder if they’ll do something like this, maybe in a loser season with characters who’ve been in the bottom 2 for any reason whatsoever, which includes Leonard and Beardo, so I’m happy about that. Also, we can have a season winner from this format by the character Geoff, because he “Won” RiDONculous Race. We can hopefully get a plot point that fixes Ezekiel back to his normal self, but with his feral abilities still in tact. Hopefully, in the 15 years since the beginning of Total Drama the series, Ezekiel actually gotten the help he needed to be the regular human “Man” living a regular human life, hopefully

@@nene-kusanagi1 Ill start briefly with the cast. I would change Sam and Sierra, but with Sam I just enjoyed what we were shown with him and I was glad to see him again. I dont care for Sierra, it didnt change my opinion on her because I still dont really like her. I love Lindsay, but Ima skip that. I enjoyed the moments we had with Lightning and Jo and thought there was missed potential but still enjoyed what we were given. Scott and Alejandro carried the season for me. Scott was hilarious and made me change my perspective on him and I loved his relationship with Courtney. Scottney is my favorite ship. Alejandro had a good run with his plans and small rivalries he had and I thought he did pretty well but again missed potential. I liked the whole Duncan is nice gimmick because Im not the biggest fan of Duncan so when that was his character I laughed and enjoyed it. I also didnt think he needed to stay that long. I personally love Courtney this season because she felt wonderful all season and I believe she deserved the win but the whole friendship with gwen in the final 5 was bad. I wish they didnt destroy that but I still loved Courtney this season. I feel like Gwen was alright in this season, glad she got out of the love triangle and had a friendship with Courtney and even got along with Zoey and Cameron but it felt like she was just there. For Heather, I liked her here and liked how Al got her out but shouldve been executed differently. Heather was pretty good though but still missed potential. I wanna skip Zoey because she was kind of eh, good, and just okay at the same time. Same goes for Cameron. Their characters had flaws but I liked them and thought it was fun to watch. With Mile/Mal, he was pretty good. I loved Mal vs Al (wish it was longer) and the whole Mike story was alright for me at least. This leaves me to like/love this seasons cast.

Chris and Chef had their moments but I wish more was done but again i enjoyed the time we had. This season was also the first season I watched and I really liked the idea with half of the OG cast coming back with the ROTI cast coming back in a heroes vs villians concept. There were definitely people missing but overall I loved this season.

i dont really see whats bad about these seasons i recently finished both of them and it was actually kind of fun to watch

I know All Stars was badly written at least it gave me some answers World Tour left a lot of loopholes that I was just questioning even though it didn't give me everything I'm still glad I got the information! But yeah I really wish it was better written and there was more episodes!

Ngl All stars Is the worst season the fact that they had to lower everyone's IQ like Zoey and Alejandro is UGLY And mal did not seem like a threat he was like a stereotype comic book kind of villain with all that "HAHAHAHAH" "I WILL TEAR THE WORLD" cough cough Mal and Max but still Pahikitew was waaaay overrated but All stars takes the bat here including when Zoey was extremely blind for 6 episodes to realize mal was in control like what the hell But still Pahikitew is better by One point Period.
