Which wheels and tyres are best for you??!! - Pro Touring Concepts

The wheels and tyres that we quote our customers can sometimes leave you guys scratching your head!!
Unfortunately we don't have the luxury of just chucking any old wheel and tyre combo on the new builds as we have increased the GVM and BTC throughout the modification process. Meaning that we need to upgrade or increase the load carrying capacity of the wheel and tyre accordingly.
Certain brands have managed to develop high load rated wheels and tyres (generally min 1450kg) specifically for the Toyota LC79, 200 and 300 Series.
What wheel and tyre we choose to put on your car will depend specifically on what your plans are and what kind of weights you'll be lugging around the country side.

The Maxxis is a great tyre they have come a long way that's for sure!! Nice and quiet, so far wearing very well and even!

Great video! Mate I got wildtrack ranger Norweld tray an canopy on back bp51 under it 600kg constants bar rails winch ect an I Just saying all that’s because I don’t know if it makes a difference with the wheel tyre combo. Anyways only thing I have left to do is wheel an tyres the wildtrack come standard with the 18inch wheel what would recommend for it mate? We tow hybrid off-road camper go bush an beach an have 100k of dirt road to get to home now you know my life story could you recommend a wheel an tyre please haha? all this goes away ... when u consider the Unimog 5023 ... 6 ton load capacity with 6 T tow capacity ( 46" tires) ... u can spend 400K making a 70 series into a 6x6 .. and still only spend 260K on a 5023 ... medium ridge truck license is only 900 bucks....
