As a child of the 60's I lived through Glam, Punk, New Age and everything that followed. If is was to pick out a single musical trend that warms my heart in the 2020's it's that anyone can play anything and make it their own. Forget boundries, genres and pigeonholes. Play it and love it. Like Mary does. Excellent rendition and a great song. Thanks Mary.

That's a capo position I play a lot of with the E open like that. Seems to work with my range. There's a cover I do of "Love will tear us apart" using the bass string like you - but I've never thought I used both at the same time. I love the way you used it to make it a key change! More recently I've been doing it the other way round where you capo the first 4-string on the 2nd fret - if you play an Em shape there it sound lovely.... :-)
