I actually followed Clarence's advice and my legs are strong as fuck now. I used to do squats then go to the leg press and the other leg machines and realized that I was wasting my time. The only thing I had to do was to improve my squat form and start increasing the weight. It's the only exercise I do for legs now and it works perfectly fine, plus I save a lot of time by not working out on those machines.

I like both leg styles, but I see the leg of a bodybuilder as a type of “artificially” made, because they train the separate exercises to develop a certain point of the leg they want to, but for a weightlifter the leg shape is a natural response to the weight they put on and carry, like a correct development of the leg (which isn’t supposed to have the bodybuilder shape naturally).

I appreciate this video, because as a life long track runner I've always had a lean body. I was lifting 3 days a week & doing the protein thing, & my weight didn't change. I was also doing track workouts every day. I was getting stronger & faster, but I looked pretty much the same. I got crap about being small & I still do, but I was running hurdles in collegiate track. I needed the flexibility & range of motion that bulking would limit.
@comedyandstuff
@comedyandstuff 5 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't mind bulking a little now that I'm out of college, but I'm focusing on rock climbing & adding unnecessary weight to your body just hurts you.

At the same time I am on third year of a back injury from warming up in frontsquat! SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN!
