Can we just talk about how horrifying Red must have been? Just imagine it. You're some team rocket grunt. Your boss is one of the strongest trainers in the world. Your gang has the money, the connections, the numbers and the notoriety to accomplish nearly anything. It's a lazy afternoon, you're on standby inncase you need to fill in. Suddenly the alarm sounds. You jump off your seat and dash for the entrance, multiple colleagues at your side. What's that? Just... a kid? 10 years old maybe. It's cruel to take his Pokemon from him, but you didn't make the rules and can't show leniency in front of the others. You challenge him to a one versus one. What happened? Your team was among the best. You've wiped the floor with insubordinate grunts plenty of time. But you could do nothing. *Nothing.* And during the entire battle, the kid didn't speak a single word. He just stared you and your team into the ground, while you couldn't keep up at all. Your legs give out. Is this thr limit of your power? What can you do? What can *the others* do? You want to call for a retreat. To evacuate. But you can't. You're fronzen in fear. Your colleagues pokemon go down one after another, he still hasn't used anything but his charizard. Finally all your squad's pokemon are spread across the ground in defeat. No one has the power or will to fight on. The child gets moving. He walks right past you, not even looking at you. What was that on his face? Did he just.... smile?

This is made possible because Rei/Akari is a Pokémon themself, specially, a human turned Rowlet/Cyndaquil/Oshawott who has the potential to evolve into Datrix/Quilava/Dewott and then into Hisuian Decidueye/Hisuian Typhlosion/Hisuian Samurott, which also explains why they can get attacked by other Pokémon, take damage, and even faint.

It could be seen cooler, I agree, but whether it's a measure of strength is open to interpretation. You can be chosen for having a pure heart rather than displaying strength, whereas when catching it's more of a show of strength as you typically would battle the Pokémon before catching it (unless of course, your luck in catching is astronomical.

I think that while Elio defeating Dialga/Palkia on Cyrus' team, it's important to note that Cyrus kinda held them back as Cyrus had it fight them in traditional Trainer-battle style rather than having them erase Elio on the spot. (Kind of reminds me of the Villainous Trainer stereotype in a previous vid lol. The villain's complex). I also pity Ethan's starter for being ditched lol

Leon is really strong in the game lore too. It is said in game that Raihan is so strong that he could be champion of other region, yet he never defeated Leon. Also Piers almost defeated Raihan while he did not use dynamax but Raihan did. So he also might be champion level in non dynamax battles. Galar is a really strong region becouse pokemon battling is a popular sport there, and they regularly hold tournaments. Gyms are also competing with eachother to not fall from the top 8. So the stronger trainers are constantly in training and they are in constant competition with eachother.

If we go by masters, the only two trainers that canonically achieve all their feats are hilbert and red. Also, Hilda is confirmed to be the battle partner; may the professor’s daughter; and Lucas the professor’s assistant.

Plus something he neglects to mention is that same Kyurem get's a third of its power back and she has to proceed to beat that AND all of Ghetsis's team in sequence, what did Akari do? Fight a legendary pokemon in a singular format, didn't have to fight Dialga, and then a beyond champion level trainer in sequence, which we also have to remember, that Kyurem base is considered in a similar caliber to Dialga and Palkia, and Red god stomps Akari because Pokemon seems to fervently hold to the idea Mewtwo is the strongest Pokemon, and yet his Charizard through its bond was able to enable Red to catch it, and this isn't factoring Mega Evolution either, so if we're going to give everyone their maximum power teams, I'm leaning on Rosa due to her holding the original status as Pokemon World Champion and holding the potential to use the strongest Dragon Pokemon in existence which in its base with a third of its power is seen in the same league as your oh so special "god" pokemon.

Dawn is the true protagonist of Generation 4. I just can’t see the blue hair contest show loving mom as anything but Dawn’s mom. The Journeys anime gives us a glimpse at game Dawn via the alternate Dawn who battles in the Pokémon League. Lucas makes more sense as the professor’s assistant. My personal theory is that Lucas is chosen to be Isekai’d back in time specifically because of his Pokédex skills and the fact that no one would really miss him in the present.

Pokemon Masters EX: "Red is the strongest trainer in history." Also Gold has been defeated by Red in this game - Sygna Suit Thunderbolt Red chapter. Red has been praised all the time in this game and referred as 'Living Legend' and 'Legendary Trainer' by the characters. He is like a celebrity in the game lol I think nowadays Game Freak wants to expose Red more as the main hero of Pokemon game, just as Ash as the main hero of anime.

Considering so many trainers have battled, defeated and captured Mewtwo, it seems like Mewtwo isn't nearly as powerful as it used to be. It's been overused and underutilized, ruining its fierce reputation and quickly downplaying all the victories of the trainers who've captured one. Correction. Ethan was never canonically declared the winner against Red. Every piece of official media about their battle states they just battled, but not who the winner is. So Ethan isn’t stronger than Red. Ethan also doesn’t have a canonical team, unlike Red. It wouldn’t be a fair fight comparing them, which is probably why neither is declared the winner.

There are a few signs of what Ethan/Gold’s team is via official media and in game story. As for the battle against Red, even if there is no winner, canonically they are the only two at the level worth fighting each other at that point. Giratina, Palkia, Dialga (all with primal forms), Darkrai, Cressalia, all 4 of the weather pokemon, Regigigas, the lake trio, heatran. Not to mention every pokemon present in Hisui including some very strong pseudo-legendary pokemon like Garchomp. Basically Rei and Akari have everything. A team of Arceus, Giratina, Palkia, and Dialga plus any pick of any 2 strong pokemon from Hisui and they are literally god tier

Since you have referred to Pokémon Masters EX on some and debating about Hilda and Victini - then you could perhaps consider her having Diancie that is one of her alternative sync pairs alongside her shiny Grapploct. Even though it is not part of the core series.

I think this was for determining her team within the context of the adventure had within Unova. So even while using Masters as a source to determine her starter, this was a Pokémon she had before she was on Pasio and likely used on her Unova team. I don't think the same can be said for Diancie, and it was revealed that the Grapploct hatched from an Egg from Bea, so this was well after her Unovan adventure.

The fun part that’s left from the various feats of Rey/Icari is that they defeated all of the noble by a combination of a gauntlet of dodging a series of near guaranteed fatal fatal blows and battling the nobles several times. They did the with either Palkia or Diaga, defeating the other, defeats Garitina TWICE in a row and then again capturing it. Captures all available legendaries. finally battles the Pokémon god through the same method of battling nobles and capturing it!

27:22 there is a small problem here. In order for Necrozma to take that form, it needs to fuse with either Solgaleo or Lunala. As such, having 2 Solgaleo and an Ultra Necrozma would require at least 3 of the box art legends, which is impossible. Since Elio and Selene also have access to nearly every legendary Pokémon, you could do what you did with Victor and give them a “wild card legendary”. Or not, IDK

The trainers of Galar aren't mediocre, Leon is one of the strongest champions in the World It is stated that Raihan is champion level and could easily be crowned champion in any other Region, but he cannot defeat Leon, Galsr region is pretty much the strongest region out there since battling is way more of a sport there than any other place filling entire stadiums for every official battle

A fun list but some of it was kinda contradictory. Also, I know there it’s the general acceptance of two timelines but except for gen 1 and gen 2 I assume every other Red is a different Red because although the teams are generally the same, the levels and general battle prowess changes constantly. As we see in Generations it’s said that he canonically caught EVERY SINGLE POKÉMON so he likely could rule the world if he really wanted to 😅

I'd say Elio still has a chance to defeat Rei. And that's because Elio owns a Necrozma and too in its Ultra form. As the Dex entry of Necrozma states, it can devour any light emitting source and to make things better for it Arceus is the primary source of Eternal light. You may now guess how strong and harsh this battle would be. If this ever happens, that would mean the end of the universe. So it'd be better if these two never ever clashes till the existence of Pokemon.

Why didn't you do both gender protagonists from each game? Did you only choose who you think is the stronger of the two or to keep the video from being over an hour? There are differences between both the male and female in other material outside of the games (like May and Brendan for example) and you used some of that for their placements

Hilda: No wonder Hilda beat Cynthia she had flipping Victini paired with Reshiram and a Volcarona Elaine: Naturally speaking a updated spin-off of a old games but with new characters as the protagonist would be stronger then real protagonist in the same game. Now as far as Original Red goes he really should be higher up. If not top 3 top 5. You kept saying stuff like Hilda and Elaine beat him in the World Tournament but then the moment you talk about him specifically you say that isn't really canon bcus the final boss is random. The same goes with the Battle Tree that's not a garunteed encounter bcus you could also get Blue. Which if that's the actual case you can't actually use it as a something against him bcus if there isn't a flat out you get to battle said trainer no matter what then it's undeserved credit and hinders the real character overall. Then you flat out give other characters Pokemon and things bcus they are seen in promotional art but you take Gigantamax away for Red... In addition to the fact you down play Red saying he didn't save a Region when he actually saved the whole entire Kanto Region not from a Legendary Pokemon but from Government Takeover that would've spread to other regions like it did in Johto and Alola. All of this literally by himself, don't get me wrong Blue was there helping to a degree but overwhelming it was Red solo. No help from Gym Leader's, a minor help from the weakest Elite 4 member Lorelei after he already did over 80% of the work himself with NO help from champions/champions+ Characters from other regions or Legendaries. He wasn't even gifted any powerful Pokemon outside of Pikachu which was his starter. Every other character you listed had help from ALL of these and then some. At bare minimum 2 - 3 player's but most definitely Champions etc while Red barely had 1 person overall which if you pay attention Blue wasn't really contributing that much bcus nothing he did actually made a difference. He's literally waiting for you in Silph Co instead of beating Giovanni himself. You even admit Victor could've been flat out irrelevant bcus Zacian and Zamazenta could've handle Eternatus themselves like they did before. That's Allot of Foul Play right there you did for Red Edit: Red also had to meet the requirements of owning a certain amount of Pokemon to get access to certain HM's in addition to at least needing 60 Pokemon owned just to get to the Sevii Islands and going on a side quest to the first 3 just to get a Ruby and Sapphire to help Bill open up trading to other Regions

if I recall correctly I think there was one NPC who said that the galar region was considered one of the toughest regions when it comes to pokemon battles the fact that they don't even let you participate in the pokemon league challenge unless you get a recommendation from either the champ himself, the league chairman, or a gym leader say's that you need to have some skills to even enter compared to the other regions where anyone can enter. Also there is some indication on leon's skills compared to other champions though raihan according to the trainer card if Raihan had gone to another region he'd have been champ there but he stays in galar to try and end leon's record so for all we know he could have gone to kanto or unova and wiped out their champ there but doesn't cause he cares more about beating leon which he's never done

As Kyurem can freeze the entire planet so yeah all 3 of the dragons are Kyogre and Groudon level. So Hilda is strong. Also the psychic elite 4 of Unova is literally the second strongest on battle frontier from Sinnoh. I think She is at least comparable to Ruby and Zaphire protagonist.

Well, eternatus was said to have infinite energi. So unless talar has infinite energy, it should have universe level destruction over time. It likely cannot use all that energy at once, however, isingen it was defeated, it means that zacian and zamasenta could cancell it out, so Victor might scale to universe level destruction if we take the dex litteraly

Red was never canonically beaten by gold in the gen two or gen two remake games. YOU beat red, but since there’s no correlation with the story, and it’s supported by being after the credits role, it didn’t canonically happen. I mean, that’s like saying red canonically stood completely still in cinnabar island for half an hour because you went to have dinner and left your game boy on, or because you caught a certain Pokémon or used a certain starter, the protagonist canonically has it. The same argument could be made for red winning the battle, since most lost to red a number of times before winning. Infact, I’d like to argue that Nintendo wants red to be acknowledged as the strongest trainer, as his team was already monstrously above any other team by gen 2, in gen 4 his team was leveled up to become the highest level team once again, and Cynthia’s garchomp exactly matched his pikachu, but not surpassed it. that’s no coincidence.

Levels don’t = Power in the games. Using your logic, Since there’s level 100 Magicarp in B&W2, those Magicarp clap Cynthia and Red. Also, Nintendo’s portrayal of red being the strongest is fine, as we know The events of Kanto are at the beginning of the timeline (Not counting Legends Arceus). They’re also only specifically stated in the Og timeline. So Red would titled the strongest trainer when over half of these protags aren’t even born yet or started their journey, Or while they exist in another universe. And Lastly, Feats >>>> Statements.

In Carnelian/Lapis (my fangame concepts), you face USUM Red, USUM Blue, and _an aged-up Leaf_ in a Triple Tag Battle. Basically, a team of three Trainers with two Pokémon each, ony one Pokémon and their Trainer can be active at each side at any given time, and Trainers can tag each other in and out at any time. The Triple Tag format basically combines elements of Rotation and Tag Team battles. Also, Red would have Charizard and Moltres, Blue would have Blastoise and Articuno, and Leaf would have Venusaur and Zapdos. In this timeline, Red's Charizard is female, Blue's Blastoise is female, and Leaf's Venusar is male.

@@anghainguyen9951 No it didn't. The clash between the 10 million volts and g-max wildfire had nothing to do with strength. It just caused Necrozma's energy to mess with Eternatus' energy. Eternatus was able to clear it up no problem. The weakest of trainers could have done the same thing by having a g-max move clash with a z-move.
