The only reason they didn't give him the win is because he was confident and they wanted to knock him down a peg, and Jen is always on the verge of tears and they wanted to boost her up. Best criticism dude could come up with is "it's not perfect" when two of the four literally forgot to even season their food. They say his pastry should have been tighter to the salmon but don't say that to Jen who has a similar, albeit smaller, gap. They say his pastry is undercooked when you can plainly see every single one of them has undercooked pastry from the time pressure and Jen's is arguably the most undercooked of them all.
@kMemela05 Жыл бұрын
@@ev6558Bruh, you clearly weren't paying attention to the video. There was a huge difference between Jen and Michael's dishes, and that difference was clearly explained by Chef Michael. He expected the pastry to be "more tightly wrapped around that salmon, so there's less of a space between where the salmon ends and the pastry starts". It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Michael's encasement of the layers was by far the worst out of the 4 cooks. Bonacini even said that Michael's pastry was undercooked and the salmon was overdone so seasoning wasn't really going to save the dish much. As for the pastries, you're definitely waffling. Jen had the least errors when it came to the overall dish. The cook on the pastry and salmon, the layers and the seasoning. Really don't know where or why you came up with all that.

In medieval Russian history, most spices, except for the herbs that grow in Russia (parsley, dill, garlic, onion, hren - Russian bitter ginger, raspberry and strawberry leaves. Nothing spicy in particular.) would be as expensive as gold. Literally prices in gramm : gramm type weight proportion. Even salt would be pretty expensive and had taxes inside, like alcohol pr oil today.
