@@Victoria-xo5jh well, I have super long legs and arms (I’m basically built like a monkey 😂) and I had abnormal flexibility: basically I’d do the splits and then reach my arms up to climb. Do NOT cook steak in a toaster! It’s a fire hazard with the juices dripping inside and onto the element. Turn your oven to broiler and cook on the top rack for a few minutes each side to preferred doneness. The way I read that scene in Legally Blonde was that Elle was taking a bite, not liking eat and so throwing down the rest of the chocolate to NOT eat, not to come back around again and finish them after in order. I do also save my favourite flavours for at the end though or at least some of them (like with skittles).

When my youngest was really little, she used to LOVE red bell pepper like this. When I was cutting a pepper for food prep, I would always call out "Want some candy?" and she'd be so excited because she loved them so much. I called it candy because of her enjoyment, not the other way around. It was adorable. And my oldest only ever threw one tantrum in public. He was about two years old and I went to the store to get an onion for dinner. I had only about 75 cents cash on me. He saw the broccoli in the produce department and wanted some, but I couldn't get any because no money. I tried to tell him we'd come back when Daddy got home, but he wasn't having it. Funniest thing you ever saw. I'll never forget the expression on the produce guy's face. lol

Growing up in a family where you did not leave the table until your plate was clean caused me to eat what I did not like first so finishing the plate with the stuff I did like was easier, only this backfired. Mom kept making the stuff I did not like a lot more because she thought that shit was my favorite and the stuff I did like less and less. One day, she made a comment about how proud she was that I was finally eating all the things I said I didn't like before and she couldn't understand why I fought her so much over these items. How she knew if I just tried them in the 1st place, I would have known right away that I liked them. "Oh, just look at my baby eating her (whatever it was)." She was crushed when I told her what I was really doing, and I still don't like those items to this day, lol, ugh.......sorry mom!

As a kid, I climbed up the furniture unit and sat on bar flap doors. It flipped over at me and smashed everything that was inside, on shelfs, cupboards, and everything in that unit spaces. The flap didn't fold, which saved my life by accident. The flap was designed to fold easily. This one was the only positive design flaw in that piece. My dad found me in a pile of brocken glass and bottles, dragged me out of it, and brought an axe...... and chopped that furniture to pieces. Was fun. Later I realised that all the broken stuff was all our family porcelain and hapainted pottery since great grandparents. No single piece survived. Honestly, our math professor at University was eating red bell peppers like this guy - 12:26. But the worst part was, that our professor was kinda old, he was in his 70s I think, and he had only few of his natural teeth left. He was making horible chewy noice, spitting while talking all the time. (And he liked to talk to you from really close distance, so his saliva often ended in your face, on your hands etc.) Once he was checking our tests and he was eating bakery goods with butter on in, and chewing red bell pepper "apple style" and then he gave me marked test with bonus - his saliva, red bell pepper juice and butter on it :D His appearance was not the best experience in our lives. On top of that, he suffered of really bad skin condition in his nose area, which caused his nose to be dry with a lot of "crambled" skin hanging on top of it. On the other hand, he was really nice to us, especially to female part of the class, so on that test he gave me, I was missing only one point to the best grade. So I cleaned that piece of paper, went back to him and asked him nicely to go thru it again and asked him to notice, that I used all the formulas he taught us, so in the end he gave me that +1 point and the best grade - which really helped me that semester since math was for a lot of creddits :D But I think, mostly my big eyes (imagine as if puss in boots making big eyes) helped the most :D

Regarding the bell pepper, i've done it a couple times. To be fair I used to watch a lot of a show called "Iron Chef" as a kid. It took place in Japan and the host voraciously ate a tomato at the opening of each episode. Not only did that inspire kid me to eat and enjoy raw tomatoes, but there were several spin offs of the show. Including the American Iron chef, hosted by the original host's nephew(? Grandson?) who carried on the tradition of snacking on raw produce with a nice bell pepper to start the challenge. So-for some insight- maybe he does it because he saw someone else do it and he's too lazy to cut it up into strips or something..

My stepdad called her his coconut-chasing, banana-loving, tree-climbing monkey, lol. *She never hurt herself as I was there to remove her from whatever she was climbing. Eating your favourite flavour last is a rookie mistake. As a kid my dad told me this: "Eat your favourite out of the options first, then your favourite out of what's left and so on. That way you always get the best of what you have. If you save the best for last you're always eating your least favourite option too."

I always save the best of something for last. I also have a “way” of eating a lot of different things. Like Twix - I eat the caramel off the top of the whole stick first then eat the cookie bottom. For anything that’s a “sandwich” (Oreos, pb crackers, etc), it must be separated and I eat one half at a time (bonus if the filling can also be pulled off and eaten separate). Anything that is rolled (Swiss cake rolls, cinnamon rolls, etc) must be unrolled and then eaten. I drew the line at ice cream sandwiches because they became too messy. I’d rather eat it like a sandwich than have my hands all sticky.

You're not supposed to put steak in a toaster. That's a disaster waiting to happen. It's meant for gmfoods like breads and Pop Tarts. Plus, it looked like shoe leather. The best way is the grill or very hot iron skillet. Sprinkle a nice sized pinch of salt on both sides. You want that gorgeous Maillard reaction.

I'm glad others do the "best flavor last" thing. I have to taste each flavor to make sure I know if I'll like a flavor. If it's something big enough & there's only one, I'll take a little bite. If it's a bite-size candy with lots of them, I'll eat the whole piece. If I don't like a flavor at all (apple or watermelon), I'll leave them for someone else.

I almost died when I climbed my closet at 8y/o. My friend got superpowers and lifted the whole cabinet 😂😂 we were playing some kind of spies, and I found some creams my mom had and put those on my hands and pretended they were these special gadget type of creams😂 I then decided to climb my closet, and it fell on top of me. If she was the host of a children's TV show, that would be the funniest ever! She would never talk down to kiddos, or bully anyone. She still remembers what is funny to kids; stuff that's harmlessly naughty that "old people" don't understand. I'm in my 60s and I've never watched Tik Tok except for excerpts on this channel, and have no idea who many of the people are that she features who are obviously famous to younger folks. I'm not the least bit offended! At least I know who *Marlon Brando* is, and when I was a computer operator in the 80s we didn't have Windows, we had to learn complex code like FORTRAN and COBOL. A popular joke back then was, "What is FORTRAN? It's what two computers do before they interphase!" Yeah, nobody would get that now.

You can buy grease-proof Teflon-ish Toasta-Bags made of polytetrafluoroethylene (yeah, I had to look that monstrosity up) that are meant for the toaster, good for making a quick grilled cheese or maybe cooking boneless, skinless chicken breast. I don't think a greasy steak would be recommended though. The website says that polytetrafluoroethylene is perfectly safe, but then the "authorities" in Palestine, Ohio are telling residents that their air and water is just fine after that train-wreck-chemical-spill-bomb-burning. I'll just keep using my 70+ year-old ferrous/carbon alloy cookware I inherited from my momma, with it's seasoned patina of decades of homemade goodness imbibed in it's surface!
