She should've hosted this year, instead of Mr. Rock. She could've handle the whole race issue much better. It would've been actually... funny.
@blognewb8 жыл бұрын
+Gábor Vág Chris Rock was actually funny. You probably didn't get half of his jokes. Especially if you're not American.
@oscarfun1008 жыл бұрын
blognewb I did get his jokes. I'm familiar with the American culture, racial issues for a long time. (Actually in this clip Whoopi has some jojes that I don't get, about some people I don't know, lol) So I did get the jokes and there were some good ones, but making jokes about one thing for 4 hours? That is boring.
@blognewb8 жыл бұрын
Gábor Vág Chris Rock ridiculed black people all throughout as well, He didn't coddle them, even insulted Will Smith et al. It's the white people who feel insecure about how minorities - Asians, Hispanics, Blacks, Natives - have been feeling in daily life being the only minority in every workplace.
@oscarfun1008 жыл бұрын
blognewb That was my other problem, he didn't mention Asians, Hispanics. He only talked about blacks as diversity. At least I don't recall any jokes about not awarding asian, hispanic etc. actors. And actually the Will Smith/Jada joke was the best, cause I found it funny that Jada Pinkett started to talk about this issue. I mean okay, at least someone started it, but if it was Viola Davis, it would've been much better, cause she's a great talent. Jada, not so much.
@blognewb8 жыл бұрын
Gábor Vág He made fun of Asians being stereotyped as good in maths and accounting and how such is detrimental to pressures of being an Asian kid upholding such stereotype when many Asians are average or have zero interest in accounting. He also made fun of their names. At this point, you are nit picking to justify your subjective dislike of the hosting clouded by the inherent issue.
