Cant beat the jz, but believe it or not around 70% of the cars in D1NZ are RB powered & you almost never see an engine fail during competition 👍
@Matt_Lanzer_133 жыл бұрын
The whole “rb’s are unreliable” stipulation is honestly due to people here in the states cheating out on parts and just lack of knowledge. Down under they’ve got a much better amount of parts and knowledge. Look at Jake drift squid. His s13 had a near stock neo in it for years and he never blew it

Honestly him comparing the 7M to the RB made my year. I am building a 12:1 7MGE Supra Mk3 for drifting. I already know the fun oil and HG issues, but 7M's are starting to become popular again and I prefer to have pure-bred Supra Mk3 as well.

Everyone I’ve seen thrash a 7M has blown a head gasket! Is that due to oiling or something else?
@LoneStarDrift3 жыл бұрын
@@jayveethreefive5214 They learned a lot of lessons on the 7M and used those to build the 2JZ, which solved pretty much everything you would need to fix about the 7M.
@sunnyblumen38073 жыл бұрын
@@jayveethreefive5214 it’s due to wrong torque spec on head bolts from factory and shitty gaskets. Also the oil pump does need a couple upgrades to be efficient. Once you add upgraded oil pressure relief spring, less restrictive oil line, MLS head gasket and ARP head studs you’re pretty solid.
