It's extremely sad when people justify their own sins by saying "It's not in the Qur'an". The prophet Muhammad pbuh said so.

Make Way Its extremely sad when people like you think the prophet(s) were given the right to add to the Deen. What's true is the opposite. The prophet(s) were SPECIALLY told not to make haram halal and the halal haram. God didn't say tattoos were haram. So you're pretty much saying the prophet disobeyed that ayat and ADDED a ruling of tattoos being haram. If you're gonna give a reasoning at least let it be a sound one.

Prophet and his love and respect comes first for the believer then the rulings of deen.... if prophet made halal into haram or haram into halal I will follow it without any doubt or question or objection instead of using my logic and arguments to prove the Prophet Mohammad PBUH wrong(Astagfirullah).. this is the way of munafiqeen(hypocrites) they used to argue and debate with the prophet to prove that he can't change or make rule of the deen because only God has the right to do so...that's why the hypocrites/munafiqeen became cursed like satan .... The Quran says the hypocrites/munafiqeen will be in the lowest hell even below the polytheists and pagan idolaters because being Monotheist isn't as important as being respectful to the chosen people of God .... Was Satan a polytheist? No he was a very great monotheist but disrespecting Prophet Adam PBUH and refusing to bow to him robbed satan of everything Good and he became cursed forever... Quran doesn't contain stories without a purpose the story of Adam PBUH and Satan becoming cursed is a warning and a lesson for other people till the day of judgement.. You too are refusing to bow to the words and rulings of the greatest Prophet Mohammad PBUH so please watch out you are heading towards the fate of Satan.. 😊

I am Muslim, go to mosque, help others, don’t hurt or cheat others. I got my a small tattoo on my hand, a moon and star only. Do you think I’m going to go to hell? I have seen people who got to mosques 5 times a day and they hurt others, harm others, cheat others, eat haram blah blah blah. So are they greater than me? And if Allah said alteration is not allowed in body, then why do we get circumcised? Why we do not stay the same as we are born? Lots of information on google and KZbin. Some are saying, tattoo is haram a big sin, some are saying it’s not unless we don’t draw bad images or disrespect someone through our tattoos. Don’t know who to listen, I’m just happy with my tattoo, people can put any fatwah on me, I don’t give a damn. As Allah knows my inside heart that I love my religion and have strong faith of Islam.

So, a tattoo is haram because it would be “changing the creation of Allah”, but circumcision isn’t haram? 🤨 🤔
@thaghozt215
@thaghozt215 6 жыл бұрын
Abd Elhalim Yousef so its ok to put a hole in your body but u cant get a tattoo? Circumcision is the altering of the body so why is that okay. That's like saying a person cannot become a bodybuilder because you're changing the natural appearance that God gave you. Who's to say what God wants anyway no one truly knows what the word of God is it's all a guess because no one knows if any religious book is truly the word of God how can you prove it. For example if I were to write a very inspiring book on how people should live their lives and that book is lost and then found thousands of years later what's to stop someone from finding that book and saying this is the word of God simply because it's so profound and righteous. What's wrong with me just being a good person why do I have to live my life based on a bunch of ideologies that I don't even know if they're true or not.

Tatoos is forebidden because the messenger PBUH said so... changing the creation is a view of a scholar which is open to debate. furthermore... foreskin which is cut during circumcision is a vestigial part just like nails and removing it is beneficial in many ways just like cutting nails... but having tatoos doesn't have any benefit for body on the contrary it is a wasteful practice of pagans..😊
@thaghozt215
@thaghozt215 6 жыл бұрын
Basharat Ali u have no clue what u are talking you just want to find a reason to bash something. First of all to tell someone to obey because someone said so is highly illogical because you can't prove that anything in religious text to be true it's just that people base their beliefs off of faith While others are just robots who follow whatever someone tells them. For example I could tell you every morning when you get out of bed that you have to spin around three times because the prophet told us so, do you see how ridiculous that is. By the way foreskin is nothing like fingernails okay fingernails grow back foreskin does not. And as far as your view on tattoos that is not a pagan tradition there have been many tribes ancient tribes who have been tattooing themselves for centuries as a part of their culture so get your facts straight before you start throwing out false statements.

Lewis Family you're right. Circumcision is in fact, altering the physical body in which God had made for us, therefore it isn't meant to be done. Nowhere does God instruct us to perform circumcision under any circumstances from within the Qur'an. Of course, many will bring up Hadiths on this matter, but even then, they're inconspicuous and/or inconsistent. The vast corpus of the Hadith literature is subjected to the same criticism, upon textual analysis.

Muslim white 🇺🇸 here, Hadith isn't in the Quran but I never got a tattoo because I think they look silly. I think too many tattoos would change ones appearance, but a few, I don't know this is tough, the question id ask all Muslims, would you raise your kids giving them freedom to get a tattoo? What i understand is if we think there is 2 opinion regarding tattooing. Then it is better we avoid it. Secondly our body is a vehicle provided by Allah to us. We are obliged to maintain it in a good way and in the same way it was given to us. Our soul is just using this vehicle in the worldly life for very less time. Tomorrow we know our body itself will be a witness to the actions we did. So this perspective does not create a second reason for tattooing. Rather it makes us clear what Islam teaches us and why it is so strict to all other additions and modifications people do on their body. May Allah give us better understanding and guide us to the right path.

Henna goes above the skin and fades. . . wouldn't that "interfere" with whudu. Ink goes below the skin and also fades , albeit at a slower rate but it does fade. water does not go below your skin when making whudu. Why is the first halal but the second haram. Why is a temporary tattoo allowed, but a longer lasting one not allowed? Please provide a quranic verse not a hadith as we follow the quran not hadith. the hadith is simply there as a guidence for interpreting the quran.

basil hamideh Brother Islam is in the intentions AND the appearance, the emphasis being placed on the former. We know this because, picture a scenario where a Muslim woman who dresses up in high heels and a mini skirt in public but performs her daily prayers. If the prophet prohibited tattoos and you defy his word, this alone shows your true intentions, for if you truly loved Allah and his messenger you would simply turn away from what displeases him.

***** Well if you're a muslim you should know that the meaning of this word "Muslim" is a Submissive , to what ? to the quran and sunnah of the prophet Mohammed May Allah bless him and grant him peace. God Almighty says :" It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error." Surat Al-'Aĥzāb (The Combined Forces) verse 36 So even if you love tattoos but the prophet says it's prohibited, you must comply with his order. why ? because God Almighty says :"whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from." Surat Al-Ĥashr (The Exile) verse 7 Now if you're not a muslim this is not a subject to debate with a not muslim , because the important thing we should debate is to believe in god and his messenger Mohammed May Allah bless him and grant him peace.

***** Ok look, from your first comment you did not give any proof supporting your ideas you're just telling what do you think is correct and Islam is not based on man's opinions; it's based on quran and sunnah so i'm telling you, again, if you're a muslim just say : " I'm a muslim, i believe that having tattoos is allowed and this is the proofs from quran and sunnah: 1.... 2..... 3...... ... " ,now if you're not let the muslims debate this issue. In the same way as a non-christian must not give his opinion on what is prohibited or not in Christianity,and a non-buddhist must not give his opinion on what is prohibited or not in Buddhism ,etc, or even a non-physician must not give his opinion on how to cure a disease,I hope you got it this time. @nikto45 true that. but sunnah goes hand in hand with quran, it gives a manual on how to live in accordance with islam and give us answers that is not expressly said in the quran. the prophet pbuh was a living, walking quran so everything he does is actually directed from Allah and not from himself. we are ummah of the prophet so we should follow the sunnah. of course you will go the hereafter alone and answer to God alone but alot of how we are judged are seen from how we live and interact with people. the ones who follow the sunnah right will have special witness (in simple terms) from the prophet himself. and these 'losers' are scholars, companions and followers of the prophet who lived in his time and memorized quran and his hadiths. learnt people, i would say. not only are they intelligent but they have iman and wisdom. if not for these 'losers', the ummah is gone and kaput. and hadiths are alot of work but just stay from the fake inauthenticated ones then we're good. and sir, i dont think tatoos from a convert are anything bad. but they are not anything to be proud of either. its a practice done in antiquity in alot of cultures. some to mark outlaws, some for ritual and some for combative achievements. but in islam we dont do that bcoz we honour ourselves by honoring God's creation. in other words we are more than skin deep. i hope you dont take offense tho sir, and study about islam more. no muslim is automatically knowledgeable and we dont fall into jannah by default we have to earn it.

@nikto45 nikto45 im not great at sirah but i learned that the first people who embraced islam as soon as the prophet was commanded to do da'wah were slaves and the poor unprivileged people of mecca. they mostly are not criminals but common folk of lower class. then as islam started to slowly spread within the city, the prophet and believers were outlawed. tbh i don't know much about the time the hadiths are collected but i know it does not matter. these hadiths were later preserved in text by scholars who dedicated by the grace of Allah who allow them to memorize them. before that there was a rich tradition of learning directly from teachers who know of the companions or from living companions themselves who do da'wah that spread and teach the sunnah and knowldege of the divine. these companions were themselves collectors of hadiths or quran, one famous example was Aishah r.anha was dubbed mother of the believers as she always took on ilm gatherings regarding knowledge in islam after the death of our beloved prophet. i dont know about you sir, but the quran and hadith are the very heart, soul and body of true islam. one cannot go without the other. principles are in quran but the practice is in sunnah. tattoos may not be expressly prohibited in quran but the prophet prohibits it. and why he does not approve means Allah does not allow it as well. as specified tattoos are tied to culture or lifestyle that is not halal for the believers. And Allah knows best wallahualam

@nikto45 preserved, collected and compiled same difference as long as it means put into text. If most of the hadiths were found inauthentic from most of the memorizers then i think its good that they filtered that out. Jizya as i understand is tax for state protection, is better and civil than outright violence and war within a diverse nation. I guess you see the whole islamic scholar tradition is a fallacy. The imams between different jurisdiction often learn under and from each other. Without understanding deen first, those scientific studies would not have been made possible. Quran is perfect no doubt, its only that hadiths put the quranic teachings into practice. If you think the hadiths are lies then i guess that is your truth realized.

In all actuality tattoos are halal, anyone getting a tattoo should know by getting a tattoo this can be very beneficial, just to point out a couple of reasons. One being, the immune system is strengthening, I’m not saying get a full back tattoo but periodically a small tattoo can boost your immune system also, if you are a diabetic there is an ink that illuminates when glucoses levels change, these are just a few. With all respect to this video, there a lot of benefits from thing in which many imams say are haram just like alcohol there are benefits to alcohol but ignorance and misuses of these gifts have taken lives and destroyed families, that’s where our free will come forward, and only Allah knows best.

In al-Saheehayn it is narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “May Allaah curse the women who do tattoos and those for whom tattoos are done, those who pluck their eyebrows and those who file their teeth for the purpose of beautification and alter the creation of Allaah.” (al-Bukhaari, al-Libaas, 5587; Muslim, al-Libaas, 5538).

The Quran is completed and it's God's fully words which is completed and it doesn't say anything about not having tattoo's. Me where I'm originally from people there believe everything is haram even if a man grows his Own hair as an afro or have a dog as a pet, which brings me to this conclusion as well which is , the Quran doesn't say anything about having a dog being haram.
