If only the Sixers hadn't let go of Butler, who could have led this team to the finals with Embid. Since then, I have often thought about this wrong decision. If they had replaced Ben then, they could have gained another star and some picks or good role-players for the duo of Embid and Butler. I won't be surprised if Embid leaves the 76ers when his contract runs out. That's the C they're going to take to every team in the NBA.

@@cwehdenif Daryl Morey (who wanted to trade Ben Simmons from Day 1) had been hired by the Philadelphia 76ers just a week earlier, Ben might have been traded to the Houston Rockets for James Harden. The problem is, by the time Morey got to Philly, Elton Brand has already signed Ben to a designated rookie max extension. For that reason, the Houston Rockets said, "fcuk that sh!t" and traded Harden to the Brooklyn Nets, instead. The Rockets were rebuilding and did NOT want an unproven guard on a designated player max, unless it was an expiring contract. Suffice to say, Elton Brand is the main reason the Simmons situation got so out of hand. The 76ers had to include Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first round draft picks just to get rid of Ben. It was worth it for Morey because he finally got his favorite PG, Harden, after trying to trade for him for more than a year and a half. Sadly, it's going to take a LOT more than that for Brooklyn to get rid of Simmons. 🏀📜💰

The Sixers could've: Drafted Booker instead of Okafor in 2015 Drafted Brown/Ingram instead of Simmons in 2016 Not trading up in 2017 and drafting Jayson Tatum Not trading away Jimmy Butler They would've had a lineup of: PG- Booker SG- JJ Reddick SF- Butler PF- Tatum C- Embiid With Jaylen Brown as their 6th man and Solid rotational pieces such as Robert Covington, Tobias Harris and TJ McConnell

$37 million, that's the reason he's slacking. NBA teams should pay these athletes based on their performance.

This new defense against players like Ben and Westbrook is the modern day 3sec in the paint rule

I, for one, am thankful that Ben is getting paid big money the next two years. for that, I hope that NBA owners re-arrange contracts with nab players going forward, so that this money isn't guaranteed. that's the only way that NBA players will step up and be professional/work at their craft.

Philly, coaches, and Media babied Ben saying he didn't need to shoot. Shame on you all who gave him the Rookie of the year over Mitchell.

Simmons killed the Butler/Embiid 76ers. Which thank god! Jimmy is a perfect fit in Miami and that organization.

"It is more about them than it is about the team. Cannot play with them, cannot win with them, cannot coach with them. Can't do it. I want winners. I want people that want to win."

If there's one thing we've learned in the past 6 years, it's that Philly should've dropped Ben Simmons and kept T.J. McConnell!

Oh man remember after the Hawks series when everyone was laughing at trading Dame for him and we thought his trade value was the lowest it could get?

Terrible audio mixing in this video, poor splicing. I wanted to watch a video critical of Ben Simmons but instead I became even more critical of your video editing skills within the first three minutes.
