Hi Ali, thanks for commenting. It really is an easy recipe, I've done it a couple of times now and it works great. I hear we are to get some rain and strong wind but the worst is to be in Wales and England. If the forecast is correct, we'll be fine!! 😊 Take care.

Interesting about the wrinkly skin vs the perfect insides. "ugliness is also only skin-deep" 😅: love it! If my apple tree ever actually gives fruit, I'll be trying this! Wonder if I can bastardise the concept and do it with Malay apples, which are nothing actually like apples (but you can make vinegar out of anything, as I have found out in numerous fruit wine brews in the past!).

Oh I don't know malay apples! Suppose if it's fruit it can ferment. I've been pretty lucky with my fruit wines so far in that they haven't turned to vinegar but I have had a couple yucky veg ones! (don't recommend parsnip wine)
