It's partly their lack of acceptance, but it's also a response to the common cry from viewers of "Hasn't she aged!" or "She's showing her age!" etc etc. The public can be cruel. And the music industry knows that, so they keep searching for the next young thing. If a significant section of the public didn't care, then neither would the money-men which would take the pressure off the artists. It's not *just* down to their vanity or delusions- they're correctly paranoid for career reasons. A fanbase such as Willie Nelson's is too rare.

I don’t know, if I wanted a job done I would go for the surgeon who did Jane Fonda. I mean she look great even at that age , but she was still stunning 10 years ago! She’s ageless. But yes, I have seen some terrible jobs as well, and honestly when you can afford the best of the best, and you have resources, how can you end up with a “butcher” Or look at Diane Keaton , my god I love her, and she probably had some job done, but you really can’t tell, she looks almost the same like she looked 40 years ago. Personally I think Gwen Stefani looks great! We are similar in age and the only unreal part is her total lack of aging. Andie McDowell, for instance hasn’t touched her face and is still beautiful. I think it is much kinder, as role models for so many, that slebs embrace aging & have self esteem to do so. I think a majority of Stefani fans probably could never afford such procedures. JLo is another unrealistic 50+ example.

Lorry Hill did an excellent overview of all of Gwen’s suspected work. I agree she’s had at least two facelifts, maybe three. She’s been getting work done for years. Go back to her No Doubt days. She looks so different now and artificial. This last procedure was more noticeable because she apparently went for the ‘foxy eye’ trend, which made her eyes looked pulled and smaller. I don’t understand the popularity of this trend. Why would you want your eyes to look smaller? She’s also had too much lip filler or one too many lip lifts. Her mouth looks unnatural, especially in close-ups. i was watching her on The Voice the other day and was do distracted by her face! The cheek implants also look odd. It’s another trend I don’t understand. It changes the whole structure of someone’s face. Look at Madonna. Hers is horrible. Dr. Amir is so knowledgeable! If I had a facelift, I’d want him to do it!

Last week was the first time I’ve seen her in a long while. I did not even recognize her. She’s had so much done to her lips she can’t smile. She may have had facelifts before but last year’s version looked more like her younger self. She at that time one could recognize her. Had she’d been by herself I would not have known who she was. I too found her so distracting I turned “The Voice” off. I have no idea who her surgeon was, but her look wouldn’t be advantageous to this surgeon and their practice. I’d rather look older than to become a person I didn’t recognize in the mirror. Wasted money!

I’m a 42 year old woman who has never kept up with trends of any kind. I stick to a simple classic look because me everything else feels dated eventually. But at least clothing and hair are temporary. You might laugh at yourself in old photos but that’s the worst of it. Surgically altering your face or body based on a trend is inconceivable to me.

@@carmeng5421 For sure. Trends or popular things sometimes are the worst things you can do! Laying in the sun all the time makes people look like shoe leather & can cause cancer & death. Opioids are extremely popular. They cause you to feel good & more often than not they wreak havoc & kill you! Body procedures are very popular, as most have stated & what I've witnessed, most of the time you can tell even if they lie about it bcuz it looks like crap & yep people die from it! Look at Joan Rivers. No disrespect, but she looked horrible from the 1st one til the last one that killed her! Come to think of it, her eyes were getting almost non existent! Now her daughter has had to live all those extra years without her mother bcuz of Joan's insecurities! Now if you have an accident or born with disfigurement is a different story & even then you have to decide if it's more dangerous to fix it or not. I mean it's each person's right to do what they want! Imho I'm going to be happy with what God gave me. Spend my life doing & enjoying things that make me & my family happy & not worry one bit about what anyone thinks about my looks!! To me, life's to short to not enjoy life, family & friends!! As a "normal" seeing people with virtually unlimited funds and resources to go to THE BEST plastic surgeons and come out looking "odd", it leaves little hope for someone like me who'd undoubtedly be searching for a deal/discount/affordable option. There is quite a lot one can do at home with non-invasive laser, light therapy, & microcurrent, devices these days. It's far better to invest in good skincare (& daily SPF), as well. These days, nearly all the skincare companies offer payment plans, so you don't have to drop a huge amount of money all at once, & here in the USA (not sure how it works in other countries), nearly all skincare companies offer money back guarantees, so if you use something for 30 days, & don't like the product, you can send it back & have your money returned. Personally, I love the skincare line offered by Augustinus Bader (I tried The Cream, after seeing before & after photos, & haven't looked back since), & I highly recommend it to everyone I know. The Solawave (red light device) has worked wonders for hyperpigmentation. I also invested in a silk pillowcase (just for my top pillow) as silk is really gentle on skin & hair, & is naturally antibacterial. I prefer the old adage, of growing older gracefully, rather than drastic measures, myself.

I had the opportunity to see Gwen years ago before multiple surgeries in Orange County playing live. She wasn't as beautiful without a nose job. Gwen should have stopped midway with her surgeries. I was a big No Doubt fan in my early teens, so I got introduced to Gwen Stefani when she was just past her mid 20's, but then I discovered their older albums and videos and saw the same Gwen but much younger and with softer make-up. Eventually she managed to mantain her same look to her 40's, of course her forehead never wrinkled. I didn't cared, many singers do that, even those who criticise her, like Courtney Love. I always admired that she was able to mangain her fitness, that's not plastic surgery, that's actual training routine. I'm not from the US so it's been quite some time since I've seen her, on her socials most photos are retouched so she always looks great. But just now, because of this video, I've looked up and saw her on that interview with her face like, bloated? Looking like some sort of blonde Kardashian, or a young Donatella Versace. It's really like she's no longer Gwen Stefani. It's sad that she felt the pressure to fulfil those crazy "beauty standards", when she has always been beautiful to begin with. There's nothing wrong if she wants a little help from a good surgeon, she had suffered from her divorce and probably it damaged her self-esteem, she can afford it and it's her money that she made herself with her talent. But it's sad when it's taken too far.

But that was a novelty, I haven't heard her music since her first solo album. One can only wish with a No Doubt reunion, they only played once here in my country and I wasn't able to attend that festival since I was still a school student and the tickets were expensive. I don't know much about her life nowadays, besides her being a judge on "The Voice" and being on a relationship with a fellow judge after her divorce.

I’m not a celebrity and I’m not rich, but at 64, I consulted with 3 different surgeons and chose Dr Karam for a full face rejuvenation. A plastic surgeon at some party told my friend who wanted to get information about "just one little thing she wants to do" that there is no such a thing like " just one little surgery" in plastic surgery, in his experience there is "the first little surgery". He explained to her that adrenaline rush when you see good results makes people addicted to that feeling. She thinks he was little tipsy. :)

In my personal experience and general observation, there are two aging milestones. The first, in our late 20s, when we lose the glow and softness of young adulthood. Aging progresses slowly and subtly thereon. You only notice it when comparing photos. Then, in our late 40s-early 50s, things take a sudden turn for the worst, with sag, jowls, eyebags, crepiness, etc. This will happen almost overnight. You notice this one suddenly in the mirror one day. In a matter if a couple of years, you can become an old hag with an RBF. It's almost traumatic...

All of the rest of the women have had some work done but not her. She was blessed. She is a rare natural blonde too which they all love. Most are bleached blonde like Gwen Stefani. Gwen has just overdone the surgery and procedures like Madonna. Not many ever used to comment on what Olivia Newton Johns' had done to keep ageing at bay, cos it was all so natural. ONJ surely had a facelift, botox, fillers in her cheeks and her lips filled but because it was all so subtle she just looked beautiful and natural. Gwen like a few others go over the top with their procedures.

I'm researching a lot of surgeons worldwide and discovered only a few surgeons have the gallery results I'm looking for. Many women don't want a dramatic result -- but I do. 😁 And, I discovered only a few can produce dramatic. AND *natural* results. Out of those surgeons very few of them have the skillset, techniques and the confidence to perform deep planes or fat grafting, and that's where the real natural results happen. Dr Karam appears to be one of those surgeons in the world who have the skills and artistry I'm looking for. For example, I've noticed that a very light layer of fat transfer over the lid is what is necessary for completing a natural result after removing excessive skin. A friend's upper eye fat pads are gone and she has a lot of excess skin on the upper eye area. She wanted every sliver of excess skin removed, but the result was her eyes looked a little sunken or hollowed. (I suspect that's why surgeons leave some crepey skin on the lid and don't remove it all.) I asked her why her Dr didn't put a very light layer of fat grafting over the lid area to replace the lost fat pad? Apparently that surgeon doesn't do fat grafting. He said it takes too long. I'm a paint artist and a music artist and I can tell you that a true artist never looks at an art project, or a music project, by saying it's taking too long. A true artist is creating each moment toward layering an overall result and is engrossed in this moment of creating their art. A true artist doesn't say that they don't want to create a specific embellishment because that might take an hour longer. These are reasons why Dr Karam is on my short list. 💥

@@MariaSantos-bl4jq I don't know if it's appropriate to post this on Dr Karams page, even though Dr K is #1 on my list. My opinions may not be shared by others based on my own personal criteria. On this vlog alone I've researched peoples surgeon suggestions only to find that they either don't do fat grafting/transfers (like Dr K practices) or they aren't confident (skilled) with deep plane and therefore only do SMAS or other options. You might be more satisfied to do your own research on this one, considering the *high price tag* and recovery I'd hate to make a recommendation for others. Cheers.

I had an excellent surgeon in Virginia. He would only do natural and was into healthy eating and some supplements. People thought I had had a good vacation. The only thing odd was he injected a little fat from my thighs in the face and it looked a little round for me but after it settled in a couple of months it looked like my face.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I’m embarking on this task now, the research. I’m learning fat transfer is part of it. I have more to learn. Ideally you would use someone in your home city which for some would be a fortunate occurrence. I don’t believe I’m one though. So travel widens the search. Any advice where to start to narrow the search to keep it as uncomplicated as possible? It’s the undetectable ones that you wish you could ask for advice but that’s the enigma. Yours sounds amazing with providing computer images and drawings with the feedback of how it will be achieved. So glad your outcomes have been so positive.

I don`t think that Gwen Stefani looks bad now, not at all: she just doesn`t look like Gwen Stefani anymore. It`s the weirdest fail I`ve ever seen because if I didn`t know who she was ( and I wouldn`t ) I`d say she`s a very good looking woman. Sadly, gwen has a lifelong habit of getting involved with pathological cheaters so it lends itself to a lot of insecurity and the need to want to fix herself all the time. People will actually look at their partner’s exes and begin feeling inferior to beautiful attributes, then they will attempt to replicate features they think their current mate found attractive in those former partners. I suspect gwen has possibly done this and so have many others.

If people undergo surgury/treatments to LOOK YOUNGER then they will always end up looking weird and crazy. However, if people do it to AGE GRACEFULLY then thats when they'll look natural and youthful. I want to be 50 years old and still look gracefully 50, not trying to look 20 only to end up looking 70
