One thing that has never really been reconciled is The Darkseid we all know and love, who's been fighting the JL and Superman for upwards of 50 years or so has always been the same Darkseid. Sometimes a little more powerful, sometimes a little less, depending on the writer, But his powers have generally remained the same for the most part. That's the Darkseid we know. And that's the Darkseid that should be compared in any VS videos. Not what Darkseid could potentially be capable of, But what he has actually done. Since this whole "true form Darkseid" started, fans have constantly been bringing up that TF Darkseid can't stomp this person or that person. And apparently the reason he only uses avatars is because if he entered into the 3D reality of prime Earth, it would all be destroyed. So that's the reason he uses these avatars. So my question is, why is it that whenever he remained in the god sphere, on Apocolips, and the JL or Superman came to battle him, why was he using his avatar then? His true form is so much more powerful, why not remain in his true form when the Justice League come to destroy him? Why use The far weaker avatar, and get his ass beat by the Justice League on his home world. So that's one thing that is really hard to reconcile with this true form. We just need to stick to his feats and fights that he has had over the last 50 years... Because even if he does have this true form, he doesn't use it when battling with Superman, or even Doomsday. So that's the Darkseid that would be battling Manhattan, and ultimately there would be no battle cuz Manhattan could just blink him out of existence with a thought

Batman beat the snot out of the dark side with a special batsuit. Manhattan has him low difficulty. He could simply will Darkseid out of existence. Or, he could turn dark side into a 6 year old girl and braid her hair.😮 You don't have to be more powerful than someone to defeat them. At least not when you can turn them into a fly and SWAT them. Darkseid is extremely powerful but it's limited on the number of ways he can use those powers. Manhattan can essentially do anything he wills to happen. Darkseid needs to hit you with his Omega beams to erase you, Doctor Manhattan can just wheel you out of existence.

Dr. Manhattan annihilates. Darksied’s blood absorption won’t work on a being without blood and Dr. Manhattan’s form is but a mere representation. It’s an avatar, no different from Darksieds’. He’s pure cosmic energy and has no “true form”, aside from whatever he wants it to be. Dr. Manhattan also exists in multiple realities; some of which he’d created himself, and cannot be obliterated by a mere Omega Beam. You can destroy his avatar, perhaps, but he can regenerate from a single cell, or simply reenter the fight from either the past or future, multiple times. Darksied simply lacks the same perception and couldn’t keep up. He also lacks the intelligence, as well as the cosmic intelligence of Dr. Manhattan. This won’t be an easy one, but Dr. Manhattan wins.

I’ve never heard such a lopsided bias analysis of Dr Manhattan. Manhattan is literally everything everywhere all at once. Doc knows he can control every if he willed but his intellectual scientific side allowed him to see that active control is a lower form of being. Doc is by far the most powerful being in the DCU.
