Yes love this message! You inspired me to look into Omad&Intermittent fasting and I'm now 1,5 week in trying to eat in an 4 hour window. But I'm also still playing around a bit with what feels best. I'm feeling very exited about all this, so thank you for sharing! You're an awesome human being :)

Great advice, BUT the why for everything in the amen protocol is that medical research shows that it extends longevity. I think deviations should be explained.

I love this video! It should be "required watching" before anyone starts a YT channel! Going one step further, it might be a nice guideline for KZbin to post!! LOL! For some reason, it reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." -Philo

Why didn't you specify what you were doing differently and why? You just repeated the same general point over 5:42 mins. Waste of time for me.
@Etobicoke674 жыл бұрын
I suppose the point he is making is that we can think out of the box like Dr Amen Ra, and each have to find out what diet, exercise regime and lifestyle is good for us. I experiment and find out how my body responds and you find out what is best for you according to how your body responds. We can be inspired by others [you can look at his chanel to find out what he does] but we each have our unique journey rather than follow the latest diet, exercise regime etc which commonly leads to failure.
@colinmurphy34784 жыл бұрын
@@Etobicoke67 Yeah, he just repeated the argument that you have to do what works for you. I've heard that a million times, and don't find that generic tidbit useful.

How many calories do you get per day? I find it mind-boggling this Amen-Ra dude only gets 1200-ish calories per day and he looks like that and even set the deadlift record for his weight class in 2013...

True Conor its better to be inspired , and to take bits and collect different ideas that are best for ourselves, because if we follow the Amen Ra diet to a T , than we with all become stick people wishing we had a hamburger in hand.

I've never felt hungry when I wake up in the morning so I do a two meal a day protocol where I eat two large meals in a day. I break the fast at around noon to 1 and then eat dinner whenever convenient. Snacks in between when I get hungry.
@tyras_heartlocker6 жыл бұрын
YES YES YES!!! There is no “right” way to eat or do anything. Everyone has their own health journey. Listen to your body. Find your balance and happy place! I appreciate that you do your own research but you don’t follow someone to the T. Too many people follow others online too strictly...
