It wasn't Julie it was that other woman who is also a writer on the show who was clearly a racist woman I saw interviews with her it was horrifying she would always disrespect Kat in some ways even when the interviewers were asking Kat questions. She was a whole lot of nonsense.

No she didn't. It was only at the end of last season that the Writers actually thought about killing her off. After that they went on to make her the lead female character.

Ian supposedly said if kat was fired that he would quit which is why she probably lasted til the end. You ever noticed how she would always be written out of the show and they would show her on a video call bc she was “visiting her dad” yea basically what she was talking about. They only wrote her in when the plot needed her to magic the other members out of a situation.. Sorry this is kinda long.

And they made her the lead female character for the last two seasons so that's a lie that's he feared for her character till the last season. It was just at the end of season 4 that the writers weren't sure they were going to bring her back. She ended it dead and walked off with grams. This season finale she walks off with Damon and there was no way Damon was being killed off so Bonnie was guaranteed to be back.

Answer: Misognoir + Julie Plec being a racist bitch. It's not just a Bonnie thing anytime there's a poc they die in this show. I can't watch the show, Bonnie's treatment pisses me off too much. The more I watch, the more I'm like if she merked everyone I am 100% okay with it. The way she's written feels like a villain origin story without the catharsis.

elena and bonnie had it the worst but i think bonnie is screwed over more by the writers as with elena it's just she's the main main so they have to put her through the ringer, there is literally no reason to do that the way they did with bonnie i also thought it was weird how they would conveniently 'get rid' of bonnie in episodes and she'd randomly come back like if you compare it to the books, bonnie doesn't go through near as much but in the books she's white so there's that like i feel like in the series bonnie is either gone or is going through something there really is barely any down time in between for her to be happy for like two seconds unlike a lot of other characters if she's happy they don't even show her/barely show her and i think that's the difference too

Apparently Julie plec the main writer and I think producer of the show is racist she wanted to kill bonnie off permanently in season 3 I think but then Ian somerhalder who plays Damon stepped in and said if she fires kat graham who plays bonnie then he would leave the show so Julie decided to keep her on. You can also google Matt Davis's (Alaric) anti-woke twitter rant where he throws Kat Graham under the bus for only talking about Black issues, when she's half Jewish. Or Matt Davis racist rants, Matt loves dragging Kat Graham into his drama (thankfully the rest of the cast don't put up with his BS; except equally problematic Zach Roerig). The irony of course being that Davis was also on Legacies (which is hella woke-to a fault), when he started on his BS. So being on that show must've been torture to him (which brings me joy).
