Benimarus ultimate element is basically FIRE. I wouldn't rave about fire going against a primordial demon. Diablo can use the nihilistic energy aswell, but out of the 3 that can including zegion benimaru is the least proficient with it. Only one who stands a chance is zegion. It depends really, Zegion is an insectoid which is highly resistant to magic which are demons primary method of attack. So she'll have to rely mostly on physical attacks, which also might not amount to much, because of his hardened exoskeleton. So it may come down to physical skills, which may give her a bit of an edge, given that demons are long lived and are constantly fighting.

Don't forget since all went from Demon Peer to the most powerfulest evolution, Devil Lords in Chapter 15. They became a behemoth level versus their peer level in chapter 13. I'd say top five for Rimuru's subordinates in order are Zegion, Diablo, Benimaru, Shion, and Testarossa. You could make an argument for the other two female primordials at number five but I think Testa is stronger than them. (I'm only up to Volume 15 of the LN)I think Shion would definitely be stronger than Benimaru if she ended up getting an Ultimate Skill so I'll leave her at number four. But I think Zegion is the strongest out of all of his subordinates because he is primed to be Diablo and Benimaru stat wise.(Ciel's greatest experiment!)

I still think Zegion is the strongest subordinate of Rimuru, I mean he is the perfect counter of any demon, and we can consider Zegion way more stronger than we think if we make a comparasion specially in the last volume, where Carrera is evenly matched with one of the generals of the insectar race and the same for Carrion but when we look back Carrera, Ultima and Testarossa could only made a scratch on him and Zegion totally one shoted Carrion. Still, the most realiable in a fight would be Diablo because he is the secretary of Rimuru and we havent seen any serious fight with Zegion

Yes you are right zegion's race is a bad match for demons but because Diablo is one of oldest living beings he has had alot of battle experience over Zegion, in the light novel vl 16 or 17 it was said that the black primordial was the one that was stopping Feldway and the insectors from entering the demon realm so imagine how strong Diablo was he fended off Feldway which is the strongest primordial Angel and the insectors zelanus group from coming through the demon gateway.

Its a fakt that Diablo is by Far the Strongest! not by current power level.
