This seems… very disturbing. Like these people have a very strange parasocial sort of relationship with this woman.

It's all BS now, big TikTok channels covering this have AI working for them to pick the story that brings most profit. No one care s about her, They will move to the next thing algorithm tell them to move to.

It really concerns me for her. Getting attention is one way her mother abused her. She’s falling back into the same toxic dynamics

Is no one concerned that she got a mentally deficient person involved to actually carry out the deed of killing her mother? I mean, it would have been one thing her doing it but involving another, especially one so open to suggestion, is simply immoral. What is wrong with these people? or do they believe that his sacrifice is somehow ok?

He was already open to the idea of killing someone, & (without prompting from Gypsy) said he also wanted to grape her mother’s dead body. Gypsy bargained with him into doing it to her instead. He was already a sick individual before meeting her, her abusive mother was just an opportunity to act on those violent fantasies. Ultimately she was the more vulnerable person, because she was without a way to escape an abusive household (as she had attempted to run away before).

@@TheEverGrowingRosey-333 Even still, cheerleading someone into murder is not a good or moral person. If she was desperate, she would have done it herself and not only not have involved someone else but more people would have understood and may have not have served any time or at the very least, as much time. He was mentally challenged and although sick, should not have been coerced, that's machiavellian.

I feel bad for what she went through but i have a problem with someone getting paid and cashing in for being involved in her mothers death.

I don’t think she should be made into a celebrity. It’s gross to me how she seemed to think she could be allowed to celebrate for a few days even tho she is on parole for 2 years. I do not think anyone should be idolizing her. It’s creepy.

I agree with you. I was very supportive when she got out and was really excited for her. Tbh- I’m sick of seeing her at this point. I also, think gypsy is enjoying the obsession and perks. But, like everything else this will die out. And I think she’s going to have a problem with that.

Idolizing people is a bizarre practice at best. Unfortunately society has made it a cornerstone of our culture, much to our own detriment (such as giving individuals fixed mindsets). A fixed mindset is a personal belief that one's ability to understand or carry out a task are innate characteristics rather than ones that develope.

Hi there ive done alot of research about Gypsy, Ive watched probably every Documentary about the situation she was in, and "feel" for her situation. From my understanding, she DOES NOT like the media attension, but on the other hand, she wants to be an "advocate" for people in the same situation (Which I think is a great idea, why not? others have done the same.) As far as the media attention, I DO think she should have waited (except for things out of her control: Poparatsy, etc), but she should wait until the "dust" settles. One good idea maybe for her would be to start a youtube channel and "Maybe" speak there, weather "live" or on video about her situation. It would generate income to go to college, etc, probably pretty quickly. But since KZbin is more respected, i think it would be the best platform. Still though she should wait until the "dust" settles, which might be her plan, i donno. She does need the experience (advocacy), which she has none. Thats where the college comes in since she DOES have her GED now (Which is a good thing shes done!). College, though is questionable, being a felon, im not sure she can even be accepted? I guess im saying theres a fine line. But at least she wants to "make something negative to a positive" (Quoting her). Ill just say i can understand how she feels about the situation (I cant say "Know" since i myself have not been in the same exact situation, though ive been in a simular situation [PRIVATE]). She needs a lot of advice first, maybe an attorney or something or a good friend, like her step mom? Anyway i can go on forever about this, but i wont. Thanks...

I am of the opinion that the whole thing is disturbing. This is something to watch from afar, not trying to push into every aspect of her life. Tragedy may come out of these I'm afraid. Another point to add on what you have pointed. Suppose she gains a dependency on this type of attention. Public opinion is fickle. What happens when she is no longer considered interesting or if opinion suddenly turns on her? Best if people just let her alone and let her attempt to find some normalcy in life. Let her figure out who she is out from under her mother's control and out from under the very strict regime of the prison system.

What that poor woman “needs” is privacy, if that’s what she wants. Good grief.

Do you know she had a girl Rachel garlick making a huge platform for her on tik tok the entire time she was in prison? I think that’s the girls name… but seems Gypsy won’t talk to her now… this whole thing is weird af. I guarantee that she was getting cash apps from “fans”.

if you bothered watching some of her interviews or the podcast she was on. you would know she plans on using this fame to help others that are in the situation she was in and let them know there are better ways out and murder isnt an option. if thats what she does do then i am more then fine with all the attention she is getting. other then that it just seems like a lot of people are just jealous

I only heard about this woman a few days ago. But what I heard is that she was already in her early 20's and no longer a child under her mother's authority when she hatched and carried out the plan to murder her mother. It's one thing if you are a trapped minor child and in self defense you kill a parent or someone who has legal authority over you and who is physically abusing you. It's another if you were abused as a child and, as an adult, you then carry out a plan to kill your parent. That sounds like revenge, not self defense. That shouldn't be elevated to hero status. It's also very strange that everyone is so supportive of Gypsy Rose for killing a parent that abused her terribly through Munchausen by proxy syndrome, and yet, this looks exactly like what the trans person, Jazz, had happen to him from his youngest childhood, and everyone seems to think his mother is so wonderful, understanding, wise, progressive, etc. Jazz is now in a permanently dysfunctional body and permanently on all kinds of drugs and hormones and surgeries to keep up the appearance of being "female" and his body can NEVER be put back to the healthy state it was before his mother decided that he was really a female, and allowed and pushed for his body to be forever disfigured. Our world, our society, is a very sick place.

Medicine is a business like any other, some people who do it have scruples, a lot don't, like any other profession. The more money to be made the less scruples to be found.

I find it so insane how if a man does ANYTHING to a mom that abused him in every way it's straight to jail, but any woman can get away with it bc they're th same gender

I find this case to be very upsetting. I cannot say what Gypsy has been through is not terrifying. It is absolutely horrible. But the aspect of making her the advocate for victims of Munchausen syndrome is wrong. It is very much wrong. Because ultimately a life was taken at the end. I really hope to get your input about your thoughts and opinions on my page. I did a case on her myself. I had a friend who was also a victim like Gypsy. This case is just so awful.. Show less
